that doesnt make sense, he just said you want a full spectrum bulb but then he said you dont want a grow light cause it will grow algae. most aquarium light tubes today are used for growing aquatic plants and to enhance the colours of the fish etc. its basically the same thing. you dont want to grow plants or algae get a standard fluro. this vid tells you nothing a complete wast of 1.45 sec
please. just stop with those videos. they give people false advice! all of them! especially the one with the cloudy water. you kill fish by doing this. whats your point really?
Несомненно хороший светильник, но по классическим канонам источник света должен находиться сверху у переднего стекла, со строны наблюдателя, только так можно увидеть всю прелесть окраски обитателей аквариума.
Part of what is says is true. With flourescents they lose intensity over time so most aquarists change tubes after 6 months if using a planted tank. As for length of time to light a aquarium between 8-10 hours is all you need at the most a day.
you dont need to have that glass piece of under the tubes. as long as the water doesnt touch the tubes. also you dont have to change the tubes every year but annually.
Told you in another one of his video...he doesn't care or know about fishes...he is there just for the money, not for the love of having fish friend for life.

@turdkurd12 fish don't need light. If you keep live plants, then they will require lighting. Don't worry your fish should be fine.
