I'm sure you get these sorts of questions all the time so I apologise if this information can be found anywhere else, but what is the cost effectiveness of such a creation when compared to a regular GHWT drumkit? Does the quality of this built outweigh any expenses?
If this kit didn't have any of the extras such as the extra pads and the TD3, and was just 5 pads wired up to the guitar hero's drum brain, how would that affect the cost comparison?
I've tried this with my e-drums, the main problem with simply wiring the drum pads up to the GHWT drumkit is that you can't adjust the sensitivity. I was playing GHWT with combs as drumsticks and still over hitting most notes
it feels better...and most people dont build this just for rock band because its alot of work but you save alot on the pads like 50$ for each pad you save
the good roland models that feel similar to these, cost 100$ while these can cost about 15-20$
nice work...
