@SunshineLSD "Almost identical" is not even close. Belive me, when people that speak portuguese tries to comunicate with people who speak spanish (the other way around too) ALWAYS have a hard time to dialogue.

Saying two languages are "almost identical" just because you don't know them, it's just stupid. So try to not stereotype latin countries, that only goes to show that prejudice is always present in the minds of the people from the first-world countries.

@SunshineLSD They're both latin languages, that's the similarities. Italian and Frech are latin languages too, and still not the "almost identical". If portuguese and spanish are so close, then makes no sense most of private schools here in Brazil have spanish classes in their résumé
