Awesome! I always wanted to see the intro to the Heartbeat City video laserdisc, and now here it is. I have a couple of live concert dvd's of the Cars, but I would really like to see an official dvd release of their music videos along with some "behind the scenes" documentary footage. Having the heartbeat city footage like this would make it even better!!
It was intro to cars video Heartbeat city leading into Hello Again(Andy Warhol version).Absolutely brilliant, dont think there was any more to show once Ric was dropped into the girls bag
One of the best tunes of the 80s! Whenever I hear this, it inspires me to do anything I want, ANYTHING I WANT! Thanks for posting. The 80s rule! Those were the days. Nostalgia, nostalgia, and nostalgia!
The "sexy giants in the city" theme is my all-time favorite video theme! I mean, what straight man wouldn't want to live in a city where there are hot girls EVERYWHERE?
Thanks for posting this video which was the Intro to The Cars' "Heartbeat City" video which I remember watching in the early 80s and had a lot of other classic Cars' videos like "Hello Again," "You Might Think," and "Magic." This Intro was obviously influenced by Andy Warhol and was the basis of a SNL Intro one season in the mid-80s. The "giants in the city" theme was also utilized by the Rolling Stones in its "Love is Strong" video as well as many other artists.
no i think MTV aired the whole Heartbeat City, and they made some videos to connect with each song i think :) you can't imagine how much would i love to see the "I Refuse"... :C
