oh alma. he was the very first person to annoy and made friends w/ kanda and turn kanda into the person we know & love today :3 i have to say, the whole kanda arc is one of my favorite arcs in d.grayman and one of the saddest arcs in the series too. i was very excited when i saw the volumes containing this arc at a bookstore that i ended up getting them instead of another series i was planning to get ^^;;; too bad i didn't see the volume that holds the conclusion of the series when i got them :(
