I really need to get this done. I can hardly walk to the car anymore. I have most all of the signs. A Cardiologist said I should come in right away but I can't afford it. He said he would just bill me but that is a life changing amount of money to pay out of pocket. Just when we got to the point in life where our work pays off and we are ready to move out of the trailer home in to a real house this comes up. I'm glad that you were able to get it done.

My dad—also named Dave!—went in to the hospital yesterday with unstable angina. Just had angioplasty and a stent put in today, and Mom says now he's back in his room, just lying flat for a few more hours, and then will go home tomorrow. Heart disease runs in his family, but cardiologist said he has great veins for a diabetic, and I reckon that's about the best compliment you can get from a cardiologist! Thanks for posting; makes me worry a bit less. Hope all is well with you!

There is no pain , Before you just have discomfort in your chest thats why so many people die because they dont realise they are having a heart attack.

Tell I said not to worry , the only uncomterble part is staying still after the procedure for a few hours till the wound closes up where they go in . She will be rite as rain a few days after . All the best .

I seen in other post about bein woke up to see how you feel, my goodness.. My Mum was in hospital for near 2 weeks, had a O2 monitor (BEEP, BEEP, BEEP) when the # falls, then about every 30 mins or less, they come in askin how she's doin, changing/addin meds, taken blood, checkin vitals on & on.. oy its tough, hang in there Mate ^_^
