Girlfriend you are working thar "Art Philosophy Cartridge " Lol. Beautiful card as always. Sound like you have a cold hope you are feeling okay. You need to take a break for a few days and enjoy your Thanksgiving holidays long weekend ok.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Schuyler (vswaddy620@yahoo.com)
@vswaddy620 Hi Schuyler. Yes indeed, I'm working the "Art Philosophy" It has become my favorite cartridge next to the Flower Shoppe. I thought I was getting a cold too, but it was late in the night or early morning I should say when I recorded the video and I had been up since 6am. What I needed to do was go to bed....lol. I plan on taking a break on Thanksgiving day at least from cards anyway. I still have to cook..lol
@ygsmith35 Yep I've started the Christmas series again. This time I started a little earlier. I wanted to give people a chance to look at some of my ideas and get their "mojo working"...lol Mines been working overtime. After this series, I am definitely taking a break. TFW
Hi Doreen!!! What a beautiful card!!! You always make it look so easy but they always come out so elegant!!! I just love it...You give me the confidence to "just try" thanks for that.
BTW...I have not been happy with my paper from Joann's (I think it is the Stampabilities brand) I know that you mentioned b4 that the linen CS from them was too hot either but u were ok with using it for card bases...I was wondering if the Michaels "Recollections" brand was better for Cricut Cutting & Bases?
@jeffnval1 Hi Valerie. The JoAnn's paper I brought was called The Paper Co. It runs about $2.99 and when they had it on sale I brought tons of it. Only to find out it didn't cut so hot on the cricut. I have noticed since I started making my Christmas I can get it to cut images that don't have a lot of detail. continue....
@jeffnval1 ...The key is to make sure your mat is really sticky so the paper can't pull up while cutting. I put my blade on five and my pressure on high. It works ok for card bases but it is really thin. The Recollection paper is great. It cuts on the Cricut like butter. I've never had a problem with anything tearing even on the intricate cuts. Hope I was able to help and thanks so much for your kind words. It always makes me feel good when I can inspire others.
@sexsavannah43 It is a cartridge that can only be picked up from a Close to My Heart dealer. I got mine at a local Rubberstamp show. There was a CTMH representative there. I first heard about the cartridge through another youtuber who's channel is vianneylu1. Since I knew I was going to be at the show I purchased it there to avoid the shipping charges. Plus I was in a hurry to get the cart. continue...
@sexsavannah43 You receive the cartridge and several rubberstamps to use with the cartridge. The cost is $99. I've never paid over $30 for my carts, but this one is well worth it because of all you get. Check with vianneylu1 on Youtube. Maybe CTMH is having a Christmas special. Mine came with 2 free CTMH stamps that did not go with the cart as a show special. TFW
I love this card, it is just beautiful! Thanks for sharing
