I have the same car as you do and I installed the cold air intake today now its stalling. One thing I noticed that you have your sensor still installed I was told as long as is still in there there should be no problem true or false?
Some cars had problem's with pre-cat failure an butterfly screw's not all of them. Im more into the 2.5 in the sentra ser's. It is more of a performance engine when placed in the sentra. Altima is kinda big car for the 2.5. If i got an altima it would have to be the VQ 3.5.
@zbabar3000 How? An intake adds hp, torque not to mention an increase to mpg. But yeah improving the performance of your engine def a rice thing to do...
I know what you mean about the Nissan 2.5. My friend has a 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5S with the 5spd manual straight pipe and K&N CAI and it's on it's 4th motor
hmmm u sure about that bro.....150,000 n its dun? i jus saw a white altima on ebay same year as urs n it has 170,000 miles on it plus n good condition 2.

Pistons will fail? Early QR's or the 2.5l's fail because of the pre-cat and butterfly screws.
