The poor thing looks so scared... I would be terrified if a bunch of giant predators were surrounding me. Apparently they get docile when they are scared and only use their venemous bite if they are very threatened.

@lagolops k well maybe they were letting it pick where it wanted To go. Some animals won't move into a spacific kind of tree because of other animals that could be predators live in them.
Typical asshole gooks. If they were returning it, then they should have had the brains to know it belongs in trees. It's an arboreal animal. Honestly some individuals have shit for brains.
It looks as though he was trying to get it to climb on the stick to interact with it without direct contact. That looked nothing like poking it he put the stick in FRONT of its face an accidentally tapped it. Stop spazzing out saying stuff like " STUPID FORIGNERZ HE POKED IT HE'S SOOO MEAN!!!" really you people need to pay attention more.
@amckeag hese guys are retarded! why are they poking him? wtf? seriously like...retarded. the animal is nocturnal! f*cking dumb sh*ts...grow the f*ck up
And you're a moron. Lol. Slow Loris' are natural climbers...if you weren't smart enough to pick up on that by looking at their limbs. The man was putting a stick in 'front' of it's chest to see if it would climb or interact with it.

why you release her just like that? how she can be survive? I have one, and i have to take care of her. its better than live in bird cage and given banana +sugar tea only by the seller.
ummm shouldnt they have put it in the effin' tree instead of the ground? The little guy is like..." uhhh maybe a little higher than the ground fellas...cuz of frikkin PREDITORS!!!!!"
they are endangered. you clearly do not know anything about this animal. they are sold in thailand and indonesia for 20 U.S dollars because they were taken from their mothers and had their teeth removed. They have a terrible sad story.
To all the people who are commenting about how it was "poked" with a stick, read the video information before you make a comment, although it's nice you care. They were releasing it back into the wild after rescuing it. They didn't "poke" it, they put the stick in front of it to stop it from going in that direction, probably onto the footpath or towards civilisation. They didn't harm the animal, and were probably acting in it's best interests, guiding it in the best direction for it to go.
they were releasing it into the wild they were probably trying to shoo it away to get it to run off into the wild as most animals being released tend to follow the people when they are released
Poor little animal! Their was no reason to poke it with a stick! It's not like it was ready to attack anyone! I guess we should be greatful they didn't eat it!
cause i thought it was a type of lemur and all lemurs i thought lived in madagascar cause they died off everywhere else. is there any way i can get one in canada lol

What's wrong with poking a slow loris for 3 seconds then leave him alone?
You guys should go express your rage somewhere else, like on videos of tamed slow loris. Common!
