@DrizzyDre4Eva They all 3 use the same alloy, the difference will be flex and design. The regular surge is stiff flex but has a small amount of "whip" action but the other 2 are very rigged. The best one is the Omen or the new S1 or XL1. They are full composites and are very easy to swing. If you are a power hitter, then you are on right track with either surge or rival.
What do you think of the Verdero 718 Max? I have the xl2 Power Brigade just don't like the feel of the bat off the baseball. Just wondering your thoughts of the Verdero
@TheRealMrBaseball I have not had the opportunity to try that bat out yet. New company and not a lot of history on the bat, the alloy or production and distribution available.
@amyspt Our new Rip It bats are coming in soon. We will have them on video soon. Same with Power Brigade bats. So far, the Easton bats have been great.
@TheRockiesfanatic The Rival is a very good bat. It is a stiff design for the power hitter. Fairly well balanced compared to some other BBCOR bats. Good overall performer. All BBCOR bats will be less powerful than BESR models.
@MrAsianPickle I have heard good things also but also heard that it is being investigated by NCAA. I know the Rip It bats were banned and needed to be Re-Certified. Now they have a new Prototype bat out.
@NorthTexasBaseball its not a " prototype " the ACTUAL NAME is the prototype the bat itself isnt a prototype . the name of the bat is a rip it prototype

@underarmourob I have many players asking about the Nike bats. I have mixed emotions personally on the Nike bats. Nike does not make baseball bats, they are outsourced and made in China and I just read that Nike has released all of their colleges from their contracts due to lack of performance expectation on the bats. If Nike says they do not hit well, I surely do not want to risk one in my son's hands. Just my thoughts.
I just bought a rival with the bpf rating 1.15 but i dont know what year it is..The model is BD10XL

@underarmourob The Rival is a good low cost bat. Better than the Typhoon, Hammer and Reflex.
