Why would it be unfair? Why shouldn't I expect to get in for free, and why shouldn't I complain about noise pollution? If the people who ran the thing had a little more consideration then I wouldn't be making such ludicrous claims.
I live in Shelsley Beauchamp, across the river, and we are planning to build our own, even better Hill Climb! Not that I've ever paid to get into Shelsley Walsh :)
You must have more money than sense. Why don't you support the oldest continuous motor sport venue in the world? We're locals too, and could get in free, but we always pay up to help keep it going. If everybody was like you there wouldn't be a hill climb there any more, you smug git

If we had lots of money, then why did we need to ask people to contribute towards saving Shelsley at a cost of just over £1m for the lease of the hill and then a further £0.5m for the upkeep of the property?
Maybe you don't realise just how world famous Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb is and what a jewel in the crown of World Motorsport it is?

First time I have seen video footage from this hillclimb.
I didn't realise how narrow the track was!
Incredible to see an F1 syle car competing there.
