@Kamokot they decided not to, that was really it. They believed more about loyalty to themselves and the Imperium than going on their own tangent. The Space Wolves were already a legion before being split up, so they kept to themselves. The Black Templars are so zealous that wanted to stay together and forge their own path then conform like all the other Space Marines. Thus, they have a fleet instead of a homeworld.
I hope the BT will receive soon a new codex which will bring them back as the supreme warriors they are supposed to be. Seriously, these guys must be the ultimate warriors.

Also EVERY Grey Knight is also a psyker making them even more dangerous. Daemons run and hide!!! (my opinion, i anyone takes offense, chill out :) )

Our scouts are part of Crusader squads thank you very much, we have Sword Brethren, so who needs van/stern, the characters are actually pretty badass on the table, who needs a fucking storm raven, why bother with the conversion beamer? It's useless up close, and we don't have independent scouts so forget storms. Also, we have RITES OF BATTLE. We win.

I may be a supporter of chaos but u forgot that the black templars have a long tradition of having a champion of the emperor derived from when the imperial fist 1st captain sigismund was chosen by rogal dorn to be the champion of the emperor and he defeated 50 champions of chaos at the seige of terra. sigismund later became chosen as chapter master for the black templars

I got an idea a few months back, about a chapter made of templars and space wolves, like a joint-ops gone BIG. I'm gonna start working on it, and would appreciate it if you gave me some ideas that could help, 'cause i have a sh*tload of work involving paint-schemes, story, names, rulebook-stuff, and so on. I'll give credit to those that help me out even a bit, by naming some leader, like a captain, or even the chapter-master resembling them. thanks beforehand =).
Being a devotee of the Crimson Fists since the very beginning, I have nothing but high respect for the Black Templars. Both our chapters were born of the Imperial Fists, and we have spilled blood together in battle, ours and the blood of our foes. Because of that, we are BROTHERS.

Don't forget the Soul Drinkers how dare you. Their the most courageous, cool, and ambitious of all space marines. Read their books I REALLY reccomend it written by Ben Counter

@dayofthenids@dayofthenids I don't see the point in this converstion at all. Tyranids are meant to overwhelm the enemy, but to be honest they are the worst army in the game right now. Black Templars would own that army in any sized battle, as they are one of the best armies game wise.
Besides, a full squad of Black Templars includes ten Space Marines and ten Scouts. I would like to see Hormagaunts or Warriors snake through 10 bolters and shotguns firing at them. Or 20 chainswords in CC.

I may be a supporter of chaos but u forgot that the black templars have a long tradition of having a champion of the emperor derived from when the imperial fist 1st captain sigismund was chosen by rogal dorn to be the champion of the emperor and he defeated 50 champions of chaos at the seige of terra. sigismund later became chosen as chapter master for the black templars

I got an idea a few months back, about a chapter made of templars and space wolves, like a joint-ops gone BIG. I'm gonna start working on it, and would appreciate it if you gave me some ideas that could help, 'cause i have a sh*tload of work involving paint-schemes, story, names, rulebook-stuff, and so on. I'll give credit to those that help me out even a bit, by naming some leader, like a captain, or even the chapter-master resembling them. thanks beforehand =).

Being a devotee of the Crimson Fists since the very beginning, I have nothing but high respect for the Black Templars. Both our chapters were born of the Imperial Fists, and we have spilled blood together in battle, ours and the blood of our foes. Because of that, we are BROTHERS.

Heres a neat trick: If you want to calculate first wave casualties of an IG landing force, you take the number of soldiers in the first wave (we'll call that number n) and multiply that number by one. so for a given first wave of n troopers, you can expect. 1n casualties.
