Gunpei Yokoi was awesome! :) it's good to see people still love the Metroid series. I'd love to see them make a new platformer of Metroid for DS or something. ^^ I remember sitting around playing my Metroid games on my Gameboy Advance as a kid. :D those were the best!

@ArlenAwesome I was acutally thinking the same thing yesterday! Possibly a sequel to Fusion, although then there'd have to be a new plot angle for it, since nintendo can't bring back the X. They are already risking angry fans by making the Metroids never die, so I think 2 never-dying species would be a bit to much. But you're right, a new side scroller is exactly what we need.

Thumbs up this post if you have either Metroid or Metroid 2! Old games are better than the new!
