Gold is one of the softest metals out there and one of the heaviest. Do you know how expensive it would be to make an entire block out of gold or how heavy it would be?

They took a BMW engine (the S70/2 to be exact) and modified it. The engine compartment was lined with gold. Where's your source?

The engine, dumbass, was made specifically for Mclaren by BMW based on an existing motor that they tweaked just for them. BMW NEVER used a gold block you moron. Gold is not only heavy and expensive, but soft. STFU
