Also, how can he have been a big animal lover when he makes the internationally recognised hand gesture for 'spanking the monkey' in this video. Mary Chipperfield got into an awful lot of trouble for spanking her monkey on camera (look it up). 'Leave your monkey unspanked' should be your motto.

Treadwell and his girlfriend Amy visited the Katmai Park during a time of year when bears try get as much fat as possible for winter. This makes them more aggressive than usual and they're willing to eat just about anything. So the attack was probably a predatory act.
