Imagine connecting a low voltage electromagnetic alternator to the drive shaft of this motor, keeping in mind the power to run the electromagnet stator must be lower that the voltage of the generators output itself. Or else the idea of harnessing this power would be pointless. I know nothing about electronics besides the bare basics, so my suggestion is in no way shape or from educated guess, it's more of a hunch.
@mattssecrets You need to go study some electrical and electronics theory and some physics. This is not intended as an insult but rather as perhaps a career path for you. You will quickly discover that what you suggested won't work but you may also discover that your interest in the subject is well rewarded.
@knowledgemonger I am in the process of learning about the theorys and the fundamentals that govern the laws of electricity. I'm sure that in due time, I will eventually learn and grow as a "mock/wannabe electrical engineer ". The funny thing is I have only been pondering the thought of "clean electricity" for 3 days now... no joke, I started my research Monday or Tuesday, and have made great strides.
@knowledgemonger lets go back to my original post... lets say, the drive shaft is fastened with a overdrive gear ratio (when the output of the gear is revolving faster than the input gear) that makes the alternator spin in much quicker RPMs.
@mattssecrets and we would also attached a "flywheel" to the input shaft of the alternator; theory being, the flywheel (once momentum is gained) is storing potential energy, that will be used to help push the magnetic motor through the high resistance of the electromagnetic field present in the the alternator.

The stator is a independently adjustable three ring system A adjustable three ring system should allow for stop start and speed adjustments. @120dbdavid "Magnet motors" can't work but that really is not my main objection to this video. This thing is well documented as being just a prop for a fraud. It is being turned from the far side. It was used to cheat some people of their money. You may say "well they didn't know physics so they got what they deserve" but I just can't do that. This was a con that worked on peoples ignorance as most cons do. New people are now trying to repeat the crime.
This is a well known fraud. Setting that aside, I think I will explain how anyone can see that this can't work. It will take me more than the 500 characters but here is a start on it.
Start with a very simple version of this with just one pole on the rotor and one on the stator. Imagine that you want to plot out a graph of the torque vs the angle of the shaft. You will notice that the simple machine is its own mirror image. This means we can plot a the curve more easily. (see more 1)
@knowledgemonger (more 1) With the machine being its own mirror image, each time you measure a torque, you can plot two points on the graph. One point is for the one you just measured and the other for the mirror image point.
The two points, however, have the opposite sign because the torque is the other way. This means that although we can't say exactly what the curve is yet, we do know that the average value is exactly zero. This disproves the simple machine. (see more 2)
@knowledgemonger (more 2) With the simple case disproved, now add a another pole to the rotor. This will add a second torque curve to the first one. This second curve also average to zero. As a result the sum of the two curves will average to zero.
The same argument applies to adding a pole to the stator and can be repeated until any combination of poles has been produced.
This proof required no advanced math etc. It should be able to be understood by anyone with mechanical skills.

Look at Troy Reed's magnetic motor. Magnetic motors are not going away, as more and more average people and scientists build and operate them. If you have not found them, you don't want to. Which is a crazy attitude. It says you want to keep riding a horse, instead of driving a car. The very probably lie of the video is to focus the picture on a side, while on the other side, the presented as motor is turned by external means. Then, when the wheels are already turning by their own mass and inertia, they can focus-back and show You the other side. Even if (that) the motor doesn't work, studies into phenomena like this could lead to more efficient designs for motors that AREN'T trying to claim to be perpetual free energy machines. Take the Magnetic Bike in the sidebar there. IT's a hybrid magneto-electric bike that uses these kind of balancing principles along with an electric motor to create a VERY efficient and powerful design.

I'm a PhD student in electrical machines, the magnet motors it may work (im not sure) but the output power is going to produce is not enough to re-magnetize the magnets again after they loss their magnetic fields due to the reflection between their poles during the rotation. so its like a battery that loss its charge. the question why its not in use, the reason is the magnets is too expensive and rare and its easier to use coils and pass current to control the motion and the torque.

While you are doing a little math, you can look at the equation for the force between two magnetic poles and the one for energy and consider what happens when you do a little dY/dX here and there. When you are done come back and tell people it won't work

the axial-flux permanent-magnet energy generator is already in the works to improve upon our wind turbines here in Canada. If you assume that a magnet motor is making energy from the magnetic field of a magnet, obviously when you are done, the field must be gone. This suggests that you want to work out how much energy that could be. When you do the math you will discover it is a very trivial amount of energy. In other words even if such machines did work, a magnet is at best a massively expensive way to buy energy.

@Jamieduk999 Yes, we can measure it. We can set up careful experiments with proper instrumentation and do the measurements. In the Bedini case, there is a simple way to get around the very wide bandwidth needed. Since you are after the total of the energy, you can make a system that is effectively a low pass filter to the energy. You can get a very large capacitor with low ESR easily these days. The inductor has always been easy.
@Jamieduk999 On the subject of the Bedini motor it depends a lot on how you define "fake". The machine draws it power in very short pulses. In fact many versions of it take in energy and return most of it back to the battery because the input current pulse is a very sharp double bump shape. This makes it extremely hard to do accurate power measurements. Commonly available meters simply don't have enough bandwidth to do it. The result is some very misleading measurements.
You need only look at things AROUND the prop to figure out what happened. Notice the orange electrical cord and the handle of a power drill that didn't get cropped out or concealed well enough.
@Zanshin357 I this case, they do prove something. Look closely and you can see evidence of how the fake was done. That a fake was made at all is also evidence. When this is combined with the person who made the obtaining money in part of a fairly large fraud case, the views of the camera help to show that it was not some sort of mistake. @montereng1 My lack of belief in things that have long been shown to be nonsense is in part because I have done real experiments and have made careful measurements. I think that you are just an "armchair expert" who is attempting to accuse others of the very thing you are guilty of. You won't get off your figurative butt and study a little math and physics so that you understand the subject. @knowledgemonger I have verified the various equations for the rate of fall off of magnetic fields, the energy stored in a field, the force created by a field. Using the SQUID, I was able to measure frequency components in the field up to about 100KHz accurately. The required that the SQUID be housed in a nonconductive dewar. It was a high temperature SQUID so I only needed LN2 to keep it cold. I was able to calibrate the SQUID against the proton only near DC.
Try what i have explained in a simple test with a single magnet and enough diamagnetic material encapsulated around the magnet as a barrier but not at the head where the pole is. After doing so use an other magnet and see if you can slide the one past the other with out the lock up :) the proof is in the pudding.
@montereng1 The idea hat a diamagnetic material can make magnet motors work is just bogus. You really can't get materials with a mu much less than that of free space unless you go with anti-ferromagnetics. If you had tried out your own suggestion and had made careful measurements, you would know that what you are suggesting won't solve the problem. Nothing can. In this universe, the force on a magnetic pole is always exactly what leads to no change in energy of the system with position.
Further if you understand that the reason in the past that persons have failed is because they have not been able to get past the lock up of the flux of the magnets.
This is overcome by diamagnetic material which crushes the flux and thus gets rid of the lock up. But that is all shown in the video if a person knows what to look for. notice the material around the magnets. notice that he says in other videos that he has used bismuth but it is not found successful.

When you insert an material with a mu greater than or less than that of free space, you still can't make this sort of idea work. Times that by 3500 RPM and you get 80,251,500 ft pound of torque per minute divided by 33500 ft pounds per minute which is one horse power you have 2395 horse power. if you consider it takes a 45 horse power generator to produce 25 KW then perhaps you can see this items potential.

The neo magnets are n54 and have a potential pull force of 94 Kilos.
That times 2 for both sides of the rotor and stator.
There are in a 16.5 inch rotor 28 magnets.
So here are the facts. 94x2x28x2.2 pounds times three rotor stator combinations is 34742.4 pounds of force. times that by .66 as that is half of the 16.5 inch rotor and you get 22929 Foot pounds of torque.

Imagine connecting a low voltage electromagnetic alternator to the drive shaft of this motor, keeping in mind the power to run the electromagnet stator must be lower that the voltage of the generators output itself. Or else the idea of harnessing this power would be pointless. I know nothing about electronics besides the bare basics, so my suggestion is in no way shape or from educated guess, it's more of a hunch.

When moving physical stuff around:
Work = Force (dot) Distance
The (dot) style multiply means that you multiply the parts that are parallel to each other. Think of walking on the side of a hill vs up it.
On rotating things:
Work = RPM * Torque * Time
Think of the work being done by winching stuff up
On electrical stuff
Work = Volts * Amps * Time

The stator is a independently adjustable three ring system A adjustable three ring system should allow for stop start and speed adjustments. This is a well known fraud. Setting that aside, I think I will explain how anyone can see that this can't work. It will take me more than the 500 characters but here is a start on it.
Start with a very simple version of this with just one pole on the rotor and one on the stator. Imagine that you want to plot out a graph of the torque vs the angle of the shaft. You will notice that the simple machine is its own mirror image. This means we can plot a the curve more easily. (see more 1)

The two points, however, have the opposite sign because the torque is the other way. This means that although we can't say exactly what the curve is yet, we do know that the average value is exactly zero. This disproves the simple machine. (see more 2)

The same argument applies to adding a pole to the stator and can be repeated until any combination of poles has been produced.
This proof required no advanced math etc. It should be able to be understood by anyone with mechanical skills.

I'm a PhD student in electrical machines, the magnet motors it may work (im not sure) but the output power is going to produce is not enough to re-magnetize the magnets again after they loss their magnetic fields due to the reflection between their poles during the rotation. so its like a battery that loss its charge. the question why its not in use, the reason is the magnets is too expensive and rare and its easier to use coils and pass current to control the motion and the torque.

@mahirtnt If you are a PhD student then I suggest you go work out the energy content in the field of some very strong magnet. You can also google on Mike Brady Perendev, Germany and fraud to discover the facts about this example.
While you are doing a little math, you can look at the equation for the force between two magnetic poles and the one for energy and consider what happens when you do a little dY/dX here and there. When you are done come back and tell people it won't work

Hint on the proof: Start with a very simple case of one pole on the rotor and one on the stator and notice that the machine is its own mirror image. Imagine that you want to make a graph of torque vs angle for this simple machine. Every torque you measure has a mirror image point too. Do you get it?

If you assume that a magnet motor is making energy from the magnetic field of a magnet, obviously when you are done, the field must be gone. This suggests that you want to work out how much energy that could be. When you do the math you will discover it is a very trivial amount of energy. In other words even if such machines did work, a magnet is at best a massively expensive way to buy energy.

@Jamieduk999 Yes, we can measure it. We can set up careful experiments with proper instrumentation and do the measurements. In the Bedini case, there is a simple way to get around the very wide bandwidth needed. Since you are after the total of the energy, you can make a system that is effectively a low pass filter to the energy. You can get a very large capacitor with low ESR easily these days. The inductor has always been easy.

@Jamieduk999 On the subject of the Bedini motor it depends a lot on how you define "fake". The machine draws it power in very short pulses. In fact many versions of it take in energy and return most of it back to the battery because the input current pulse is a very sharp double bump shape. This makes it extremely hard to do accurate power measurements. Commonly available meters simply don't have enough bandwidth to do it. The result is some very misleading measurements.

When this is combined with the person who made the obtaining money in part of a fairly large fraud case, the views of the camera help to show that it was not some sort of mistake. 3 axis SQUID with resolution 1fT for vector measurements
Quantum physical magnetometer with 0.1fT resolution of my own design also for vectors but not calubrated.

@knowledgemonger I have verified the various equations for the rate of fall off of magnetic fields, the energy stored in a field, the force created by a field. Using the SQUID, I was able to measure frequency components in the field up to about 100KHz accurately. The required that the SQUID be housed in a nonconductive dewar. It was a high temperature SQUID so I only needed LN2 to keep it cold. I was able to calibrate the SQUID against the proton only near DC.

Try what i have explained in a simple test with a single magnet and enough diamagnetic material encapsulated around the magnet as a barrier but not at the head where the pole is. After doing so use an other magnet and see if you can slide the one past the other with out the lock up :) the proof is in the pudding.

@montereng1 The idea hat a diamagnetic material can make magnet motors work is just bogus. You really can't get materials with a mu much less than that of free space unless you go with anti-ferromagnetics. If you had tried out your own suggestion and had made careful measurements, you would know that what you are suggesting won't solve the problem. Nothing can. In this universe, the force on a magnetic pole is always exactly what leads to no change in energy of the system with position.

Further if you understand that the reason in the past that persons have failed is because they have not been able to get past the lock up of the flux of the magnets.
This is overcome by diamagnetic material which crushes the flux and thus gets rid of the lock up. But that is all shown in the video if a person knows what to look for. notice the material around the magnets. notice that he says in other videos that he has used bismuth but it is not found successful.

When you insert an material with a mu greater than or less than that of free space, you still can't make this sort of idea work. To see why this is true, you need to consider the direction of the force on a magnetic pole and the equations for have the energy changes. Remember that work is defined as:
Work = Force (dot) Distance
The (dot) style multiply means parallel parts.

For instance, friction may be treated without resorting to the use of nonconservative forces by considering the motion of individual molecules; however that means every molecule's motion must be considered rather than handling it through statistical methods. For macroscopic systems the nonconservative approximation is far easier to deal with than millions of degrees of freedom.

The fact that water wheels and steam engines have been turning rotors and produces electricity is proof of the concept. This foot pounds of torque is per revolution. Times that by 3500 RPM and you get 80,251,500 ft pound of torque per minute divided by 33500 ft pounds per minute which is one horse power you have 2395 horse power. if you consider it takes a 45 horse power generator to produce 25 KW then perhaps you can see this items potential.

Here is some engineering data for you to choke on.
The neo magnets are n54 and have a potential pull force of 94 Kilos.
That times 2 for both sides of the rotor and stator.
There are in a 16.5 inch rotor 28 magnets.
So here are the facts. 94x2x28x2.2 pounds times three rotor stator combinations is 34742.4 pounds of force. times that by .66 as that is half of the 16.5 inch rotor and you get 22929 Foot pounds of torque.
