The pictures in this video are the first taken from LRO. Then LRO took other pictures with better resolution (50cm/pixel). Search the "Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera" (LROC) web site, the titles of the last Apollo pages are: "New View of Apollo 14", "Apollo 16, Footsteps Under High Sun", The Apollo 15 Lunar Laser Ranging Retroreflector", "High Noon at Tranquility Base", "Apollo 12 Second Look".

I do find it hard to believe that NASA had the technology to land men on the moon, and bring them back safely in the 1960's, but let's give them the benefit of the doubt that they actually achieved that. But these photos would not be proof enough in my opinion. With today's photo enhancement software, it wouldn't be difficult at all to make it seem like we're looking at Apollo landing sites. Sorry, this would not deter moon landing hoax theorists.

@IAmOpenMinded I think we can be reasonably confident that if any such enhancement technology could be that effective, it would have already been employed here.

I think I am right in saying this: Don't forget, LRO was not sent to the moon to image the Apollo sites, but rather to map the whole surface. That's a whole other ballgame, trying to capture a huge area with reasonable resolution, not a small area with ultra high res. Capturing the Apollo sites was merely a sideline, a bonus.

@sgh95 whats the point. the photos i've seen dont lie. and its not only the backdrops. but the lunar rover leaving no tracks. or the LEM being built to flimsy, or the astronots taking too good photos with a chest mounted camera...the mistakes are numerous.

And one more: During Apollo missions the astronauts have taken more than 60000 photos! If you can prove all of them, that they are assumed, that would be interesting!!!!!

Take that total of 60,000 photos and divide it by the time they had allowed in their missions to talk photos. Remember that they has lots of other task to accomplish during each mission. I come up with one picture every 45 seconds, see what you come up with. Now take into account how well they are all centered for a chest mounted camera. Now take into account how well the ones you see are developed. Then tell me how come NONE of the photos have the astronauts with EARTH in the background?

That arrow in the Apollo 16 photo is probably just covering the rover. Its position can be determined by the relationship of the LM to the crater. I would have liked seeing if it could be seen.

Yes, but they won't ever offer any proof. The moon hoaxers seem to think they are all Johnny Cochrain and all they have to do is produce enough reasonable doubt.
