Simply an amazing video. I remember it going through Kangaroo Flat at about 4pm maybe, but i missed it but i still saw the smoke trail and heard that amazing whistle on it's way out of K/Flat. Still disappointed i missed it though :(

R761 celebrates it's 60th Birthday next year as it was delivered in 1952. Great vid BTW.

Excellent video! I was going to go to Diggers Rest but when I got there the spot I wanted to film was filled by construction workers and their trucks. A quick note, the trip itself wasn't actually to commemorate the 60th Anniversary, R761's was added to celebrate the year along side 707's as well as a long serving volunteer's 60th round too. The one on R707 was actually the first commemorative headboard made and put there 2 months ago for the Bacchus Marsh trip in July. Keep up the good work!
