@golddragon: I think it's actually something like 2/4, and Justin's stamping is syncopated in the second part. If you clap along using single claps, you'll see that you can clap evenly even while he's stamping unevenly.
Strange that it is titled a jig since it is not in jig time . It is a great tune though miss named and the performers are very entertaining.

just a fiddle and some southern percussion- yet the song could not be more complete. Best use of bones I think I've ever heard.

What time is this song written in? there is something very odd in the feel of the rhythm. like a dragging feel a longing.
