  • you don't glue your eyes to the conductor. i never have. i can see him with peripheral vision. so even though they don't look up, it still does matter who the conductor is.

  • Understood. Sorry for this noob lack of knowledge.

  • unless you are a choir...

Also, if the parts were memorized, eyes would be glued even for an orchestra.

  • its all good dude. =]

  • The London Symphony Orchestra has recorded every the music for each of John William's Star Wars scores. There is no wonder why they seem to have the best interpretation of these themes - they've played them so much!

  • John williams conducts it better

  • Yes, John Williams has conducted the LSO every time they've done a recording.

  • thanks, I know. But I'm talking about when some other guy conducts it irt isn't as good, you know. Williams is like a magician. He was named musician of the century.

  • Sorry...misunderstanding...Have you seen the video of John Williams during an interview about scoring Phantom Menace? On one of the parts (it's kind of long), he mentions that even though the orchestra personnel has changed quite a bit, the orchestra's interpretation is largely the same.

  • probably because everyone there now GREW UP with the movies.. hearing the LSO play it from childhood to adulthood!!! its bound to stick! lol

  • The best peice ever! Played the greatest Orchestra! Best Live Performance Ive Ever Seen! Love To see it for real :)
