that was gay it looked like you missed then shot the deer then claimed you got it with an arrow, convenient how you found the pretty clean arrow already out of the deer..for my story at least. The shot would have completely missed if it hadn't ducked into it before it ran because you exposed yourself and were very close, you can obviously see it react before the arrow MAYBE hits it, can't tell if it does or not. But either way it doesn't look like the shot shown was a kill.
if u watch closely, the arrow hits its mark, and exits falling straight to the ground.... when a deer sees you and is on alert mode, u have to aim low because they will always duck... If he was looking in another direction and not in alert mode, i would have aimed straight at him.... Usually an arrow in the heart kills....
@sreyes454545 how simple is it to hit a deer in the heart with a bow shot? Taking into consideration the rib cage and the deer`s alertness. I am wanting to start hunting but im still trying to decide wether to use a gun or a bow.
@CreQ pretty dumb commend, take advice fromthe guy, allert deer you aim a lil lower and they turn fast so it was hard to see it hit the mark the deer probably die soon after. do you even hunt??
@CreQ pretty dumb commend, take advice fromthe guy, allert deer you aim a lil lower and they turn fast so it was hard to see it hit the mark the deer probably die soon after. do you even hunt??
@CreQ An arrow leaving a compound bow is not nearly as fast as a rifle, because of this it is very possible for a deer to dodge the arrow once you fire. Just the SOUND alone and make a deer jump or run on reflex weather they see you or not. If you aim at the vital zone on a medium to long range shot the deer can "Jump the Wire" by lowering his body to make a big leap. He doesn't actually jump OVER the arrow, but the arrow will go right over his back as he is flexing down for his leap.
dont give yourself as much credit as you are. you shot that buck under a feeder. thats not evan hunting. and yet your all cocky saying your chuck norris at hunting when u have to use a feeder
i used feeder to make sure my girlfriend's first time hunting would produce something to shoot at... by the way, i personally go in the creek bottoms, but she wouldnt have liked that too much, too many mosquitoes...
well, i had my girlfriend with me and it was her first time to go hunting, i had to make sure we saw something.... I couldnt take her to the creek bottom and hunt a trail...... back in nam didnt u use rice fields in to lure in Charlie?
@MuellT you do realize that you're 25 and that you're an idiot for saying you fought in Vietnam...not to mention being unbelievably disrespectful to those who actually DID fight there and lost there lives, friends, and part of their humanity for it
someday when somebody beats the shit out of you and has their foot on your neck I hope you have time to look around and think, "Gee, I wish there was someone in uniform nearby" before you die.
whats the problem? Dude made a nice vital shot and the deer died after it was shot instead of getting shot in the ass with a field point and the deer living for another 12 weeks before it died of infection. u cry babies need to stick to your steroid wendy's and McDonalds burgers
Nice shot.I hunt near wild grape vines. As far as I am concerned it is the same as baiting.Just like corn fields and apple trees, etc.Keep up the good work and be safe!
i feel big and brave, and if i could wear buckskin underwear without people making fun of me, i would.... fyi, wild hogs are known to hide and charge people minding their own business, i got other videos of hog killing..... stay tuned for more action from Backwoods Outdoors....
@Soi6Fan You're right! It's better to buy meat that was grown on a farm and for which to wind up on someone's table an animal had to go through a life of suffering, (possibly) pain and captivity instead of eating meat from an animal that has previously been living a happy life.
@Soi6Fan This is how people should be living their lives, not at home while some factory slaughters hundreds of cattle concentration style and ships their pieces off to the nearest McDonalds for our lazy consumption.. If the world as we know it crumbled around us, people like this man, and myself would be some of the few on this planet that would be able to survive.. Understand that this is NOT some barbaric sport like so many people try to pin it as. We understand that a life is taken..........
@robertjohnson487 trust me, that deer didnt feel a thing... Reason being, the adrenaline rush of being frightened of the sound of the arrow, made the penetration feel like a mosquito bite... THis deer actually stopped after 50 yards of sprinting, turned around to see what the heck just happend, then got light headed, and went to sleep..... That's how this real man proves himself here on Backwoods Outdoors..... Stay tuned for more action...
@robertjohnson487 uh dont watch it then....please explain why its ok for a mountain lion to kill and eat a deer but if a person does it its bad. its a lot more painful to the deer for the cat to crush its trachea...because we have superior intelligence does not mean were not predators by nature. or atleast those of us that have it in our very genes to want to hunt. besides is it any more humane to systematically slaughter cattle for food? no. at least the deer is free-ranging and has a chance.
@sreyes454545 you're retarded. I haven't died so I dono what its like, and neither have you, so how the fuck do you claim to know whats its like to be shot with a arrow in the chest?? P.S. I am a hunter also
