Seisaku's Wife with Wakao Ayako is one of my favorite films. I saw it in the movie theater many years ago. It is a truly GREAT anti-war film, and a great film in many other respects too. Ayako Wakao is sublime in this film ... truly sublime. I wish I could find a DVD with English Subtitles.
