  • @nonamer145 same size yes

  • 6:18 to 6:30 Amazing condensation between engines

  • what floor where you on?

  • @bluesboyguitar It's Upper deck

  • @bluesboyguitar I think its awesome planes now have "floors" :)

  • Ive noticed the same thing with all A380 video's, the engines are so quiet, its almost as if your a bird soaring through the air

  • Åkte du bara från Göteborg till Tokyo och tillbaka till Sverige? Du åkte på en flygsemester kan man kalla det eller? =)

  • @hadekul stannade väl till i Tajlandet lite oxå.

  • Hej jag måste fråga satt du i business eller i economy??? och vilken stols rad hade du ???

  • @samblackhippo business och har för mig det var rad 17.

  • how was the thunderstorm?

  • Didn't feel anything.

  • great video...

  • Haha, actually more noise during the hold at the active runway than when takeoff power was set! Incredible piece of engineering!

  • Oh My, it was quiet as heaven!

  • yay, i'll be on this flight in december. SQ638!

  • Airbus is the best!!!

  • Can I ask at what?

  • lol yeah at what exactly?

  • note that the A380 only is reversing with two engines. If they reverse with the to longest out, they take in grass in the enginge :)

  • I guess your meaning is that only two out of four engine on Airbus A380 has thrust reverser because to limit the amount of debris entering the engine, right?

  • Danielyeoh5885, there was a reason Airbus only put reversers of two of the four engines, and it is NOT to limit the debris entering the engine. This engine is powerful, a thrust of about 80000lbs, but the GE90-115B has a thrust of 127,900lbs! The reason only 2 engines have reversers is due to the braking power the plane had already. Airbus wasn't going to even put reversers, but the FAA told them to put it on 2. Full braking power would send a person flying through the chair in front of him!

  • However, it is also true that the reason they don't put reversers on the outside engines is due to the proximity they are from the edge of the runway and yes it is also to protect from the ingestion of debris

  • Yes, you're right. Even though i did send you that message, i did forget to mention that the outboard engines are close the the edge of the runway, so they can't have reverse thrust due to ingestion of debris. But also, the stopping power is also a factor in why they only need two reversers

  • Airbus har verkligen lyckats när det gäller att göra tysta plan :)

  • 2:09, it is very high attitule or i dont care if i spell it wrong but its koolaid video!

  • what time does this plane depart from Singapore? arrive in Tokyo?

  • Departure from SIN was around 23.45 and arrival to NRT 07.00 in the morning if i remember correct.

  • thus an overnight flight. I always like those flights that depart at night and arrive early morning in the destination

  • awesome !

  • Very nice video!

    :-)

  • You we're on the New Business Class I see ;]

  • I LOVE A380 !!!

  • That engine sound is trademark of A380...

    It's 40% quieter than any other airplanes...=)

  • awesome video mate !
