因為現在日本動畫在撥出上已趨近一飽和狀態

能給予海貓26集的集數已是相當寬容了

若是在5、6年前的話還好，還有可能可以拉到3季(36~39集­)的撥出時間

但現在可以挪用到2季的最大集數26集是極限了

海貓動畫在集數有限的情況下刪減修改還有趕戲是難免

個人不覺得動畫做得有多差，當然EP4最後這部分是用了趕一點

但個人認為DEEN不論是在作畫或是聲音表現還有氣氛上都是相當­優秀的

最後，銀盤也是相當優秀的作品

希望各位不要再給予製作組批評了

This anime is named "Umineko no Naku Koro ni", or "When They Cry 3" as it's titled.

It's a Visual Novel consisting of 8 games, 6 of the games are out as of now. The animated series (1st seaspon) are based on the "question arcs", which are the first 4 games. Lots of people (especially the visual novel readers) criticize the producer (DEEN) for their somewhat bad project. The game is fucking awesome though.

The reason DEEN is suffering quality is due to this triad: Time | Money | Quality. You can only take 2. This is only 5 minutes of animation, most of it is stills. It's very well done, but there are still problems and look at how long it took.

DEEN likely wanted to save money and had a timeline to finish it on, so quality suffered. This is common in anime and rather sad.

I'm still completely wow'd by this animation though, it's a very good adaption of that scene in the VN.

Even lack of time cant justify the stupidity of some scenes, forced fanservice completely out of place, bad directing etc... I can name hundred of things that dont depend on time/money as much as they depend on right understanding and respect to source material. Deen lacks both in epic scale.

The DVD sales aren't up to standards because we know that the first few episodes are pretty boring, and that the bonuses aren't worth the high price.

I can't believe how professional the animation looks. Personally I like DEEN's character designs, but their animation has serious QUALITY issues.
