Excellent,I know that feeling when something kicks into life!
I guess the timing was a little too advanced cos of the way the starter was struggling and the spit-back our of the carb? One thing about the old,non-computerised engines was that you actually had to use what God gave you between your ears to fix problems.
We are being (deliberately) conditioned in the West to have less self-reliance.
