  • now stop it! lol

  • Do you reload 303s? If so do you use cast bullets? I can't find .311 or .312 cast bullets on the internet. Any info would be great.

  • @rmatey18 Lyman and Lee both make molds. The lyman bullet 314299 usly works great in the 303.

  • Got an English 1915 SMLE myself, bolt actions don't get any smoother than those, not from my limited experience anyways :P Can't go wrong with a Lee Enfield, I'm proud to have it in our country's history. Very understandable that several soldiers performing the fast and accurate mad minute at once would be misinturpreted as machinegun fire lol In a world of bolts, Enfields are the cadillacs imo, but to each his own.

  • nice work man

how did you shoot? whit the thumb of ur left hand?

  • @Lyricoholic Middle finger.

  • nice enfield man

  • Are you guys in Canada still limited to 5 rounds even in your bolt guns?

  • @EHSPP16 No just semi auto rifles.

  • wat year is yours??

  • @taco1030 1943 i think.

  • @Gungeek mine is a indian made ishapore 2A1 made in 1967 chambered for 308

  • you have an amzing father he is so supportive of u =] mann and nice rapid fire!

  • smell good?

  • cant you put 10 rounds in the enfield mag

  • yep :)

  • what rounds are more common 303 or 8mm mauser

  • I think in the states 8mm is more common then 303.

  • some good shooting, do some in the prone position, then we can see some very fast shooting

  • I have a 1934 Ishapore, are they more valuable than the British made No 1 Mk 3's?

  • Depends what shape its in...

  • Same case with every other gun.

Mine is in great condition, works like new.

  • I just got No1 Mk3 for $170 at GI Joes and It was made in 1926 5n Ishapore!!!!! I shot 20 rounds through it and it's my new hunting rifle and it's Grenade wrapped ill get a video up soon....

  • I just found a new love in surplus rifles. SMLEs.

    I just picked up a 1942 US property marked No4 Mk1*

Now to clean out all of the cosmo grease.

  • mine was manufactured in 53 at ishapore. are the indian rifles better or worse than the other nationalities? canada? britain? australia?

  • The Indian ones dont always look great but i guess they shoot alright...If the barrel is good it should shoot good.

  • the australian lithgows are the best due to the american aircraft metal presses used in the nsw factory.the steel is of a better quality, even the master engineers at the enfield factory in the uk acknowledged this. nice collection though mate!

  • Nah, Canadian #4's are the best everyone knows that...

  • @Gungeek you know thats not true haha.. lithgows are the best.

.303s are by far the most common over here.. did they re-chamber the yank ones to 8mm??

  • The turk rebuilt some British ones to fire 8mm.

  • I love my Enfield. Ammo can be expensive though. Mine was manufactured in Ishapore in 48. I think that's the correct arsenal.

  • Anyone ever scope an Enfield No.1 MK3 ? I just bought one and plan to scope it ?

  • they can be scoped

  • Thanks man.

  • You have Nice Rifle. Hey Come to Finland to Buy Pystykorva & Ukko Pekka ( They are the Rifles Names in Finnwar 1939-1945)

  • are you shooting with the middle finger? and with ur firing finger and thumb holding the bolt?

  • yep

  • nice the british dit it in the first world war to , from out of the trenches , if the germans charged , the germans thought they were coming up to machineguns , because you had a whole line of british shooting there enfields real fast , but for being real accurate that isent so good right , but for up close hell yea

  • It was rapid aimed fire....

  • you smell the cordite ore you use modern makes

  • Can't remember if is was handloads or new factory ammo, but it wasn't old mk.7 cordite.

  • He's using the Mad Munute technique- operate the bolt with the first finger and thumb and the trigger with the middle finger.

  • Nice work mate! Good to hear another of the accents that is associated with the SMLE! I'll have to give it a go myself, with a video that shows what I'm shooting at! Cheers, Matt

  • lol accent..what accent? lol ;)
