Mr. Tomcat swears that "Skinny pipes make Skinny power". Any truth to that?. I had a set of Spec 2's on my H1 which were " skinny" and I had to get off and push under 6700rpm's.
@twostrokeornill1 I can see that - the pipe on my '94 YZ250 is FAT compared to most triple chambers.... same size cylinder, and has a very wide power band (the power valve helps!).
Sounds like a really big version of my dad's 350 BigHorn. This is my dream bike for the street. I think it even slightly edges out my fanciful Husqvarna 390OR-with-lights-and-mirrors scheme.
Boy, do i miss those 1970's 2 stroke street bikes. That Kawasaki of yours sure sounds good. I'm a Yamaha guy, but i love all of those 2 strokes. How about the awesome Suzuki Water Buffalo? Unfortunately, all 2 stroke engines will soon be a thing of the past. That's such a shame. The golden age of motorcycling is long over.
Major companies found out that fuel injection makes two strokes crazy efficient... Just search for ditech, it's Aprilia's project to introduce fuel injection on two strokes.
Polaris has been building EFI powered two stroke snowmobiles for years. I dont think that even EFI will help a two stroke pass smog regulations, therefore I doubt we will ever see a new ring ding road bike again. Hopefully I am wrong.
WKY 691K, It was imported from the States, Chicago if I remember right,
It was issued with an age related plate in the UK, and when I sold it (To Rick Brett) he told me it was the oldest one iin the country..........It said first registered 1971 on the log book, but hey, I'm no expert, so can't say for certain one way or another,
My old man had one of these, thay are bloody evil on exelleration - hence being known as "the widow maker". I'd love one to add to the collection of two strokes (cars) that I have. I need somthing to leave me shaking half an hour after I've riden it!
My dad was a Kawasaki Dealer in the 70's and 80's. He told me that those H2's were insane. I'll definitely need to get my hands on one!!! H2 has the sweetest sound of any engine... ever!
Had a 73 in that color,it was my pride and joy in highschool. I had a license plate on it that said BAD. And it was.Sorry I sold it after 10 years.(for 400 dollars)

Nice sounding H2A, b and c's were different. had two a long time ago.
stillair1 10 months ago
Isn't that an H2A ? I thought B's had a different colour scheme and the longer wheelbase, as well as a different oil pump like the C's did also.

3 times to be exact. Every 120* the 2 stroke triple fires. Same as my Yamaha SRX 700 snowmobile. Love them 2 stroke triples.

Sweet sounding pipes for sure, I had a '71 H2 and it was a big let down if I'm honest, really, really awful bike to ride except in a straight line.
Anyone wanting a triple I'd advise either the S3/KH 400 or H1e/f same sounds, but go round corners a bit better.

Kawasaki didn't make a H-2 in 1971. The 1st year was 1972. They made a H-1 500 not a H-2 750...
