I accidentally left some brass in my jeans pocket and they went though the laundry. They came out nice and shinny just like yours. I think that I need an old washing machine so that I can wash shop rags and brass. I would have to wait until my wife was out of town before I put any brass in her beloved washing machine.Ha Ha
@wiederladerTv Got too nervous about lead deposits in the washing machine so i hand washed them with 1 part white vinager, 3 parts water, tablesppon of baking soda and a teaspoon of 'simple green' - worked well.
@wiederladerTv Meine frau kann deutsch ein bissein. Ich weise nur "Ich habe blaues augen."
Keep those videos coming ! I am just getting started loading 308 for my LT OBR762 and you're videos have been great. I have loaded 40 cal for a decade now, but that is so much simpler than loading for a bottle neck rifle. Hopefully I get a decent camera soon and I will post up some videos.
Oh god... for a moment there I thought he had been saving up his urine and maybe masturbating or something!
But really, you'd have to have the normal idiotic stepford, soccer-mom, moron wife to not understand what you're doing. Hell she'd probably tell you to try that if you hadn't thought of it.
And you don't need that asshole loud stopping noise at the end to upset us!
They make zippered mesh bags for women to wash their lacy underthings in (and other delicates too I suppose), I'm guessing this would work really well for brass. Off to the laundromat! :D
@danbowkley NON! It's not a tight enough weave and would allow too much of the rims and edges of the shells to actually contact the finish of the drum and chip the enamel.
wiederlader, I'm a friend of Spine Sales... you have a wicked sense of humor sir... about how dangerous it is to clean brass this way. You're right, I've done it, and well, now.... you get the idea, I don't do it that way, anymore. She made me buy a tumbler... ROTFLMAOADL! Good Job! Well Done! and quality work on the brass. Question: isn't 139 minutes a tad extreme? hard on clothing too...innocent look goes here!
@flemingjim1953 Thank you very much...yes I have a wicked sense of humor! ;-)
I told you "do not get caught"....because I know how my wife would react . Well I think the 139 are not extrem. It's the normal program for hot wash at 30° Celsius at our washing machine. And hey, cleaning the brass with the tumbler is a good method too...without any danger.
Hahahaha. I love it. I now see why you said to wait until the wife isn't home. Man that worked really good for cleaning the bass they look like new. Thanks for the tip Wiederlader.
while she is gone....the dishwasher is great for cleaning gun parts too

Your accent is the bomb. I have to say, I've used the washing machine as a parts washer too. Works great on small automotive stuff as well!
I'll try it on some brass next.
