This was wrestling when it was as real as it gets. It's amazing how Hansen dominates Andre at times in this match. I'd like to see Hansen vs Buff Bagwell. Buff who? Hansen woulda sent that little pussy bitch fag back home to his momma!!!
Part of Andre's gimmick was that he was "undefeated", or at least had never been pinned. Of course, in wrestling "never" rarely actually means NEVER but many organizations played into it willingly - it was part of what made him one of the biggest attractions in the business and it was in everyone's best interest to keep the mystique alive for as long as possible.
The guy could barely stand let alone wrestle. He was his own worse enemy. Knock him down and he'd take a week to stand back up. Give me a break. The guy was a drunkard.
I have no idea where any one could complain about the match we're watching here. Andre's speed is amazing and he's displaying feats of strength that reconfirm him, in my view, as one of the greater athletes in the world of his time. I've seen the "slow" matches that Andre-haters are upset about, but this is definitely not one of them. And he was always a sight to see, no matter what.
