Hi I am currently building a waterfall and a background for my water dragons and i've made them seperate to each other to make it easier to install, BUT I dont want to see the join between the two and i thought of using silicone. Can you tell me if silicone is safe to use in their viv or not? reply asap please as im ready to put them in soon.

no sorry a 45 gallon is way to small for a water dragon, they will become stressed and sick and may die... u deff need a 75 gallon tank at the least.

and u cant just leave them out 24/7 cuz they need the propper heat and propper uv light.

hmmmm well its mainly based on what u know more about. if you know most the facts about the water dragon then get the water dragon or if u know they most on beardies the beardies, i believe anyone can start with any pet as long as they know the facts and have the propper mind to care for them . they are both amazing starter reptiles.

Well I think im going to the Bearded Dragon because i have a reptile room, and I don't really have to much room right now and i know you need like a 120 tank or a little bit smaller for a Water dragon, and they bearded dragon needs a 50 (if wrong please correct me). And the reason I have a little bit of room is because I have a 120 gallon for a ball python and a 20 gallon for my spider. and im going to get a 50 for the spider and the breadie and i don't want them to be to close together.

ahhhh yea that 120g tank prly tanks up alot of room lol. yea it sometimes comes hard to keep reptiles when u run out of room lol. im getting my reptile room in september when my sister moves out :D

ahaahaha no deff not, by making this vivarium. it will give him more room to run , jump, climb and swim in, thus for giving him more movement lessing his lazyness lol.

oh OK but i heard that tap water has chlorine in it but humans can drink it but its harmful to reptiles but do you use a conditioner or something or bottle water since it has no chlorine

oh well yea some water does, i live out in the contry so our water comes from a well thats in our yard, so out water actauly has no chemicals in it whats so ever :D but yea if urs does ujust put a conditioner in it. u can jus buy it at a pet store.

stirophome- ( i bought new stuff u will see it in the new vid its pink ) 40 bucks

Just for fun where did you get your plexi? I tried to get some but it was so freakin expensive here in my town (Canada) I wanted to purchase a thicker size because I was scared that the heat lamp would make the plexi go soft and eventually melt.

As for the scratching you can always put an extra layer(Glass?) starting from the bottom to about 10 inch up to protect the lizard from scratching the plexi.

well i live on ontario, not to far from you, i got mine are home depot, for 25 bucks a sheet. and for the scratching part it may not happen cuz i have a nice plan for the inside :D:D

haha man i always draw everything out lmao i just never go according to my own plans lol, i always change things all around as i go. i think it turns out cooler that way. yeah man i had a false water cobra, some beardies, like 7 ball pythons of different morphs, a timor monitor(that guy was cool), an iggy and a breeding pair of cali kings, also had a panther chameleon but that guy passed before we moved. And i had a huge 250 gal reef tank too, hoping to set another one up some time, moving sucks
