works perfect, but i bet you did the same thing as me when you got the activation error which is try installing webos on a brand new phone without ever activating it with 1.4.5.

@Evinator3 yes it can be done on a mac as well, you just need a few things installed for MetaDoctor to work on a Mac. Search WebOS Internals for: MetaDoctor Mac OSX

can i upgrade a pre+ *for use with T MOBILE* to 2.0 or 2.1? (im asking because there is no script for tmobile at step 3...). Please kindly help :)

@janthe6th If your Pre+ is working on T-Mobile with 1.4.5, 2.1 should as well. I'd use the WR (world-ready) docto r from step 3.

Grrr. It took me a little time to figure out that I needed to USB connect the phone after WebOS Doctor specifically says to. Many thanks for posting the video. I used Cygwin.
