not true, play all campaigns and you know what the difference is. the predator trophy kills (4 different), alien trophy kills (5 different). you need to play on hard and there are more animations.

sry, that's not true for PC. in the PC Version you can choose DX9 or DX11. Extra DX11 Settings like Tesselation and sp. AA are ingame. if you play the game with dx11, you will see the difference on any object, textures and lightning. the tesselation in dx11 is just nice.

the predator must "use some heads" (trophy kills) to open the doors, otherwise you loose the session. the graphics on pc are much better..+dx11

Cliche game... It's obvious that graphics took the stage instead of game play because during the second minute alone, the guy playing the demo did about 20 things that he already did during the first minute. He made various kills that were already redundant, used the same weapons, "jumped where the 'X' told him to", and in my opinion, got dished-out by the marines (I mean, c'mon people, would our Predator get shot that many times? Nah... Didn't think so either...)

yesterday i've played/started the predator campaign. oh hell, this game rockz baby. nice smoot gameplay and good ideas, i like the storyline. really really nice game. (played on PC). if i get an DX11 Card later, i repeat all campaigns. ;D

I finally got this and I have a 4870 as well. However its so buggy. As Rsixcookie said you cant play with dx10 and for me the game crashes trying to play in dx11 which is suppose to work for dx10.1 without 11 features so you are stuck playing in dx9. Just ran into another bug with the hud as well making it impossible to see what weapon you're selecting and ammo. As well as the targetting reticle is a solid white box. Hopefully they patch it soon.

Game is released on Thursday. I played the Marine Campaign, really really nice. Also hard on Easy Mode. The GFX is just nice, Full DX11 + DX9 Support, you can choose.

Love this Game, because the Atmo is like AvP2, but now ... more.

The AI doesn't really matter, it's the MP functions I'm after. Also the campain isn't that much of a problem either, it took me 2 hours to complete each of the AvP2 campains and about 30 minutes for each AvP2:PH campain - 3 hours is an improvement. About the complete darkness, it's not fun to only see what your flashlight covers for the whole game, finally we'd all get some light. And about the statement about rushes, there would be only 4 of them at once unless youi're playing predator on AvP2.

FYI the disc returns, auto-aim can be turned off, regenerating health for aliens is great, because they were too weak to play as in AvP2. BTW the graphics and the gore are great.

Yeah, but the predator has to come near the enemy to one hit kill him. And alien underpowerment is not a problem for me - never liked them anyway. As for marines, in AvP2 they were overpowered - a sniper shot could kill a predator with a shot to the leg, not to mentio the smartgun which used to kill a predator in 2 seconds flat AND auto-target. I think it's actually more balanced now.

Not a problem, it used to do the same in AvP2 if it was stuck and if you'd recall it in flight it would magically change course. I once threw it and killed a marine, then an alien jupmed at my face as I recalled the disc, it killed me, the disc killed it and an other alien that was coming in behind me. Overkill I'd say, plus that happened more then three times in simmilar cirsumstances in over two days. Also, on the subject of overpowerment - pounce would kill marines and corporates instantly,

U can stay camouflaged for as long as u want (doesn't use energy) and any vision does NOT use energy either

I have a question and it would be great if anybody could answer it for me! If you were playing the predator in AVP3, would there be a bar of how much energy you have to use towards your weapons such as the plasma caster, camouflage and mines? Or is there no energy bar? Meaning could you stay camouflaged as long as you want and shoot as many times with the plasma caster as you want for infinite.

theres is a eneergy bar,it is used for all of the listed "plasma caster,mines,and healing shot" but you can stay invisible pretty much forever as long as you dont hit a enemy

bleh ill play as marines most of the time. I think surviving is always fun, even better when you own others with the "gimped" character. The marines remind me of predator mode on far cry. stick together and make sure your teammate dies first.
