DiBiase isn't really an example of this--he was always a solid guy even when he had to work heel--but I'm inherently skeptical of people who try to eek out a second career on the Christian circuit.

I know God forgives anyone who repents. I know the Million Dollar Man was just a gimmick. I know wrestling is not real life...... but geez, it's so hard to believe Ted Dibiase is now preaching for God. I NEVER thought Ted Dibiase would ever be saved and preach for God.... and it's STILL hard to imagine this.

@unclefestus I have known Ted since around 1982. He is genuine in whatever he does. When he wrestled, he was the standard setter. He was in the elite group that included Flair. Not many others have that distinction as a performer in the business. He's passionate about anything he does. I was there at the time of his turnaround. You don't know me, and have no reason to beileve me. But Ted DiBiase is as passionate about his ministry as he is about anything he has ever done. Maybe moreso

Oh, I DO believe he is a sincere follower of God. I'm just saying it's REALLY hard for me to imagine since I hated him so much as a kid. He was a really great villain. Now that I'm grown up, I can see just how great he played the "Million Dollar Man." I have his biography on my bookshelf and I do believe he's genuine now. I'd really love to meet the man someday if I ever get a chance.
