  • i heard some mistake

bu still is hard to play

    great job for keeping there

  • Non mi piace..questo è un capriccio, cos'è sto casino col pedale? Dovrebbe essere tutto pizzicato, solo alcune parti più melodiche. Il risultato è solo una gran confusione. Peccato, perchè cmq la tecnica c'è..

  • She is so good!! wow....

  • i cant really believe this is a winner. this is not concert standart, the phrasing isnt good and too much pedal and mistakes. sorry, but the pianist should have practiced more.

  • It's intersting .I love to play Liszt too

  • Good! But this is "Grand etude"(1851). "Trancsendental Etude"(1838) is more difficult than Grand etude.

  • It sounds like Paganini caprice 24

  • it is. the transcription of 24 caprices

  • it is lol, Liszt style

  • great! wonderfull.... listz maybe it´s one of the most espectacular piano composer but this interpretation is really really good!

  • im going to start etudes during the summer!

  • great player!very difficult etude!I think liszt is always hard to play!his pieces has always a hard technic.but they are all beautiful!

  • although its still impressive she can play it that fast..

  • in my opinion, theres too many mistakes, and her style makes me very uncomfortable, especially variations 2-4. i cannot believe this is a winner', but not be negative. she was a winner after all

  • I agree with you, and I also have a bit to comment on. I felt her style was a bit... rough? I'm not sure, but for variation two, I've always thought that it was all supposed to be played by the left hand. Yet she was a winner after all, and I have to acknowledge her achievement. Generally good technique. Kudos.

  • 1st version! amazing

  • Amazing technique. Pushing the limits of what is possible.

  • well played, Liszt really had a thing for making most of his pieces extremely technically and physically difficult, pushing the player outside of their comfort zone, I love this etude, And I think that you have played it to justice, Well done.

  • This isn't a "transcendental" etude, the info should say "grande". I loved the dynamics but the lack of phrasing and the constant rubato hurt the performance. I personally can't play most of these so I'll shut up now.

  • "Transcendental Etude d'Apres Paganini", was the name of the first version.

  • trascendental etudes are more dificult than this etudes...

  • @palasdecaballo for pianists who can play them properly, those small differences in difficulty aren't noticeable.

  • @MJGriftz

    u can if u practise...

  • brilliant ! one of the hardest pieces to play in my opionion

  • great job. i was wondering if anyone know's where to get the sheet music for this piece

  • well i always order it from sheetmusicplus dot com but you probably cant find it for free.

  • Think about it-

  • I can't say EXCELLENT....but you're really doing a grrrreaat job by playing it...some forgivable mistakes....but I say that cause I know that it's a very demanding etude..I play the 1st+3rd+5th so, I know how hard it is....keep going..waiting 4 more..

  • This is awesome!! i wish i could play like that!!! 5 stars....

  • Very good!!!! I like this person's interpretation very much!!!!
