most video cameras dont capture the deep rumble the x-pipe makes, only the popping sound, because i have the same setup with a 5.4 and it sounds ten times better when your actually beside it

i think the camera makes the popping sound louder. i recorded my 97 f150 with a 40series flowmaster and it popped a lot louder than in real life.

My god straight pipes sound horrible! Do you seriously like the popping sound when your going down a hill or letting off of the gas? Get a good free flowing muffler that sounds good and does not have that horrible popping. I do like how you have it routed though. Very SVT looking.

I was worried about the popping sound, I think that straight pipes sound like trash, but mine DO NOT have that sound at all. The X-pipe and the short run of pipes keep it from sounding trashy. When I let of it pops for about 2 secs, but no big backfires or anything like that, does not have the "usual" straight pipe sound.
