@irishfighter429 Point taken. Really, what should be said is you can't get the same amount of horsepower from the mods of a V6 in comparison to a V8. The V6 block can safely handle 350 HP to the crank, while a V8 GT can handle 550 to the crank. And the lightness of a V6 and V8 isn't able to take effect. 500 lbs yes, but 500 lbs vs 200 more horsepower if both are hooking is going to beat the lighter car. But I do love Mustangs either way. And I was reffering to the 05-09 bodystyle.
many of those so called ricer cars are so much better than mustangs. A civic would wipe the floor with a Mustang with an engine that is 3 times as big on any race that involves corners. All that power with crap handling.
