You do realize that this combo video was uploaded 2 months after Brawl's release, right? People really didn't play the game hardcore defensive as they do now. I was also reading people well anyways. When you read people it makes it seem like their decision was bad, and that's not always the case.

Melee does not equal Brawl. You have to play the two completely different. The only thing that's similar about Melee and Brawl is the general goal, which is to keep the opponents off the stage.

Oh, and DANmakuFailure, I guarantee you that the majority of the players in the video would rape you, including me, even though I haven't played in 3 months since I quit.

I have to agree. They´re both very different games. Melee requires both skills and speed, while Brawl main focus is the use of mindgames and skills as well. Hitstun is practically non-existant in Brawl, making it almost impossible to do some combos. They´re like the two sides of a coin: pick the one that suits you the best.

Then just force yourself to stick with a certain character who is generally regarded to be decent, or very good. Because if you stick to one, you will get better with that character, and when you get to a certain level of skill with that character, you enjoy using that character 100 times more...

Not sure how good this guy is, but honestly, you can't tell me that you've never had a moment where you just owned someone, EVERYONE has had a moment like that. This is just a montage of those moments. If you've never had one then you must REALLY suck. Dude, I can combo someone at a HIGHER level than me. I've comboed M2K before. Does that mean he sucks? Well if it does then I guess EVERYONE IN THE WHOLE WORLD SUCKS. There's not a single person who hasn't been comboed.

I stumbled upon this by accident and learned something: I'm not interested in combo vids. Why? Raynal123 has a point; none of the opponents seem anywhere near as good as Seph. I am sure they are real matches, its just the opponents seem... Terrible. Not holding anything against Seph, but next time try using all those awesome combos against people of your own skill level. Start playing with the big boys if you know what I mean.

The reason why 90% of the time they are just sitting there and taking it is because 90% of these clips are highlights showing Captain Falcon/Ganondorf owning the shit out of their opponents. They don't show the other parts of the match where the opponent is fighting back.

Remember guys, this was Brawl Combo videos are just players catching their opponents off guard with technique. You can't really combo somebody in Brawl beacause of Infinite air dodge as you might already know. His opponents just weren't ready for the epicness that is Falcon.

Perhaps it's because I play at a competative level, but when I look through my own replays, my favorites aren't the ones I save of me performing a really cool move on a level 9 computer. It's the ones where I was having a hard time winning, and did something cool to win, to my own fault, and not the noobiness of my opponent. In too many of the skits, your opponent didn't even throw a counter attack in an attempt to do anything, let alone a dodge, and sometimes no DI. Like no controller was in.
