Good news, I completed my recording logs for the 60s Supremes recoridings and I can confirm that on this song is not the Andantes but Mary and Cindy, here is the info for the song:
A LITTLE BREEZE
RECORDED - 18TH FEBRUARY 1968
LEAD VOCAL - DIANA ROSS
BACKGROUND VOCALS - MARY WILSON, CINDY BIRDSONG
I was surprised that this is not the Andantes but I am so chiuffed that it is Mary and Cindy on this afterall.
I have all the background vocals for all the 60s Supremes now, xxx
Yeah it's Diane with the Andantes, by this time they didn't even have Mary and Cindy in the studio anymore, they weren't needed. Mary says so in her book.
@Eddieb715 No it is not the Andantes, yes it sounds like them and I thought it was them too for quite a while but I can confirm it is Mary and Cindy on this as I got all the recording logs for the 60s Supremes recordings.xxx
@swso2000 I know what you mean. I think it was around mid-late 1967 that her voice suddenly changed from being really nasal to a mature developed voice. The first song that comes to mind where her signature voice is heard is on "Heaven Must Have Sent You."
We're into "Diana Ross & The Supremes" (or should I say Andantes as those Ooos are definately Marlene and Jackie's voices) territory, this was recorded 2/29/68 according to Mary's Book.
Again, where have I been? I've NEVER heard this!!

Diana was really coming into her signature voice in the late 60's. So relaxed.
