If I played in an argentinean or brazilian server, usually I got pings below 100. If I played in north american servers I usually got 200+.
when playing with ping you will always be at a disadvantage, so you will have to try to outsmart your opponents rather than trying to play like you usually would, and playing daily with the same ping helps you get used to it...

Speaking of mouse sensitivty alone doesn't make much sense, you need to know the mouse's DPI, if the person uses acceleration or not, etc...
For instance, I used 0.9 sensitivtiy with 2000 DPI when I made this video (iirc). Later I used 0.54 with 1800 dpi, right now I'm playing with 0.45 @ 3500 DPI (without acceleration in every case)
If you want to understand more about mouses, you should read antigen's mouse guide, google it.

@alonalon777 it IS a bug, they didn't make anything, they don't care about the game. They themselves stated in the FIOS tournament with a 100k prize that bunny hopping wasn't a bug, reason why it was allowed in the tournament.
All they did was port the game to the OB engine, without minding what bugs they were adding (which are quite a few).
Before valve ported the game to the OB engine, some other guy (subzero) had already done it and encountered the same problem, but he fixed it in his mod.

@MrShizPoo couple of console commands that I dont know cuz I just used a movie config (you can search for it in hl2dm university or in google, look for anx movie guide or holy molys guide) and my hud remover which you can get on hl2dm university

It wasn't intended that way. I mean, there are several players that started before I did, and still keep playing until today, those players should be able to set standards higher than mines. If you started a year and a half ago it would be understandable if you couldn't pull some of that stuff, but the game already has around 6 years and more than one should be able to do better things.
Apart from that, it also depends on how u play the game. It's different if you play to get better, or just pub

LOL haha, it's not that hard to jump and duck you know... specially when you have the duck action bound to the mouse4/mouse5 button. Makes it pretty easy and fast. ^_^
it's been more than a year since I stopped, (so it is hard for me to get the IPs) and I played mainly on 3 servers cuz those were the ones I used to get low ping on. The best one isn't up anymore, the other 2 (which suck imo) were some brasilian ones called "Terra". Don't know the ip but you might be able to find them.
Apart from that I played on some american ones for scrims / league matches. One of them was from Axon clan, punk lend it to us (the team), but there isn't much more than that.
I used to compete yeah, I believe europe still has their league (clans united), but I'm not really sure really, it's been quite some time since I followed the scene.

you are right, thirdperson is broken on hl2dm. You can use drive and demo smoothing, but that doesn't show your model cuz when u record, you are the "camera", and your model's actions aren't stored. However, you can ask someone else for their demo and you will be able to see yourself, or a sourcetv demo (which you can't smooth but you can see every person in the server)

I'd say around 2500 hours, maybe a bit more (Xfire counts 1700+, but I didn't always use that). I didn't cheat, can't really see how you would program a cheat to ricochet bolts, move rpg shots or reject objects for instance.... @0nti i think the bug with the bhop was caused cus they have updated the hitboxes too...
in another way they messed with the models movements and actions.
hope hl2ep3 will have a multilplayer, hl2dm is just extremelely buggy
if hl2ep3 or hl3 will have multiplayer it will be updated more recently then hl2dm
as the multiplayer was bundled long ago with hl2 until the hacker messed it up

valve just made it so you couldnt sprint until you are fully standing...
what they ment is that you couldnt immidetely sprint after crouching and you will become more tired (the explenation for loosing 1 aux power bar...)

Lolz onti didn't play good people??? His team placed second in CAL only losing to $W which at the time was the top team.

The best one isn't up anymore, the other 2 (which suck imo) were some brasilian ones called "Terra". Don't know the ip but you might be able to find them.
Apart from that I played on some american ones for scrims / league matches. One of them was from Axon clan, punk lend it to us (the team), but there isn't much more than that.

I used to compete yeah, I believe europe still has their league (clans united), but I'm not really sure really, it's been quite some time since I followed the scene.

you are right, thirdperson is broken on hl2dm. You can use drive and demo smoothing, but that doesn't show your model cuz when u record, you are the "camera", and your model's actions aren't stored. However, you can ask someone else for their demo and you will be able to see yourself, or a sourcetv demo (which you can't smooth but you can see every person in the server)

I'd say around 2500 hours, maybe a bit more (Xfire counts 1700+, but I didn't always use that). I didn't cheat, can't really see how you would program a cheat to ricochet bolts, move rpg shots or reject objects for instance.... And yeah I do study and read books, so I dunno why the supposition that I don't. Anyway, you can believe whatever you want :>

3) yeah the thing is that trick hurts a lot hahahaa, you would usually use it if you had plenty of life, and knew you could kill your opponent, otherwise it would be plain suicide:P
