What a joke and need for attention to let it go this far and get on the news. it is entirely true that mountain lions are quickly encroaching on the midwest. if a mountain lion can be found in a big city like chicago and in the suburbs of st. louis, there's no reason that it couldn't be found in its once-native habitat that supplies an abundance of its main food - deer. This type of situation is by no means impossible or unlikely. in a remote-ish area with, obviously, a ton of deer, there is no reason why this event should not be taken seriously, at least to be safe.
It was just announced that jeremiah fell out of his stand because he forgot to wear his safety harness. Afraid to tell his dad the truth he made up the story. He even cut his jacket and hat with his pocket knife.
