how did you noe which were mountain folds and which were valley folds?

@jerielho1234 the outer line is usually a mountain fold when u have a boxpleated cp. unless there are some color change in the model!

@jerielho1234 well, from the edge is M,V,M,V,M,V,M,V and so on. u just need to try,

and i started with the head and worked my way back. u can see how i did it in the video!

this is a very easy Cp to start with, there is not that much folding to do when u have the base. and yeah, i use a wet folding technique when i shape my models...

@shukigkato thank u shukigkato... i make a vid of every model i make... and then i put some pics on flickr:) this one is 10 times better than my other that i made from tissued foil paper..... but, this time i found out how to fold the head correctly... nice flying samurai helmet beetle btw.. i wish i could designe my own models. im going to buy Origami Design Secrets - Mathematical Methods for an Ancient Art Second Edition. By Robert J. Lang.. maby that will help me get started

@vlinderbom2 yes its made from a 48 grid... if u made the grid, all u need to do then is to count the different reference points.... good luck

@allcartuner oh, i spent 1,5 hours on the prefolding, 2 hours on the collapsing, and the rest of the day on shaping:) shaping is a big part of origami...
