@MrChilenito18 It is, but honestly, the entire world has a serious problem when it comes to animal treatment. Have you seen Earthlings? You should watch it if you haven't, it's very powerful. What concerns me the most is the situation in Tibet. I'm hoping that Tibet will become more autonomous because, let's be honest, it is NOT autonomous in it's current state and Tibetans are treated like second class citizens. But Idk if the abolishment of communism would have any effect on animal treatment.

@koolaboy believe me if I would have to see the end of communism. as Mao Zedong said that pets were a symbol of bourgeois, and he had to exterminate them. for example in Russia before the USSR had no care for the environment and animals and look now, Russia banned the hunting of polar bears and seals. observed change in China in Chinese cities boast a completely gray, deforestation and no legislation to protect animals

no actually guangzhou has a population of 12 million or more if including the floating population so yea it is the third largest and the largest of any cantonese speaking city in the PRC

It is silly to say GZ will replace HK soon.

Each city has its room and role in China.

I see HK as a little too small to expand; this is a fact. I know as I was born and raised there. But 7 million is still a grand metropolis. HK will be special to China for decades to come. It has its special characteristics, blend of East and West. Global integration is the prevailing theme. HK is ahead.

Zhong Shan and GZ area is my ancestral hometown, were my grandpa and g-grandpa were born and raised.
