  • that was a great line up and with you useing the steam sounds form the front engine and the whistle from the rear engine it had a great mix in sounds

  • @grizzleybearz282004 actually the steam sound is from both of them at the same time, and the whistle is from the front engine

  • @ozzman6669 O I AM SORRY YOUR RIGHT FOR SOME RESEASON WHEN I SEEN THIS THIS MORNING I THOUGHT THE FIRST T-1 WAS THE LIONEL ONE FROM 1989 OR 1990 WITH RAILSOUNDS THEN IT WAS STILL REALY THE MIGHTY SOUNDS OF STEAM SETUP BUT LIONEL AROUND 1990 GIVE OR TAKE CHANGED THE NAME TO RAILSOUNDS WELL THAT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DONT LET YOUR SELF WAKEUP BEFORE TYPEING LOL BUT THAY ARE GREAT ENGINES YOU HAVE THERE

  • I rode behind both these engines in the 70s. Gawd I miss those steam excursions on the Class 1s.

  • Wow! What great sound they've got. Really realistic, both the whistling and the stack talk is excellent. I had Lionel, but they never sounded this good! The video work is excellent too in making this come off looking so real.

  • @Cyclist051 thank you very much

  • How were you able to find a way to couple them together? I mean, how did you find a way to get a coupler onto the front of the engines?

  • @acethepone the engines come with 2 couplers for the front, from mth the small coupler is on cause it looks better, but they give you a regular size coupler as well, so i put that on and just created a lash up in my wireless controller and they run together.

  • @ozzman6669 so mth makes their trains that way?

  • @ozzman6669 yeah, my chessie is lionel, and they don't have front couplers for their engines.

  • @ozzman6669 yeah, my chessie is lionel, and it doesn't have a front coupler.

  • Thanks for the info. I have a Lionel Reading T-1 I'm planning to add TMCC to plus a front coupler for doubleheading.

  • Nice video. Are both T-1s MTH?

  • @coonbondageking

yes they are both MTH, the chessie is very hard to find it took us 6 months to find a new one, we got back into the hobby years after they made these, but they are great engines and the build quality is superb.

    thanks matt

  • Are both T-1s MTH?

  • What size curves do you have?

  • @atsf3415dbr the curves the train is running on are O-72 the out side track is O-80 i believe

  • who made the passenger cars?

  • @amtrak101

they are all made by MTH most are premier and some are railking.

  • AWESOME!!! 5 stars and favorited!!! For the record I did run an HO scale Reading T-1 double-header some 10 years ago with my Overland Models T-1 and another belonging to a friend of mine. Unofrtunately I don't have that particular run on video but I DO have them on video heading seperate trains on the same layout.

  • nice!, I love those locomotives!

  • pertty cool video Ozz, I like the BM&R on the tender too.
