Wow....what a song...Ravindran Master is the king of melody....we miss you a lot....and what to say about our dearest Dasettan-Gaanagandharvan....magical rendition....thanks a lot, ranjith for providing me with the link of the song...also thank farisha, the uploader, from the bottom of my heart...
beautiful!!!! on hearing itself one can identify its ravindran master's composition....thats called a musician's signature....ravindran master has composed a very similar song in shudda saveri in an album "ulsava ganangal"..song starts like "athi manoharam"....
@nimmipournami Extremely honoured to know that a real connoisseur like you enjoys this magical poem set to music! This is not merely a song for me, but a personally deep, deep resonance...
@anthikadfilms Many thanks for your comment. I shall be trying my best to work out the Ragams in future uploads as well, should I not obtain them from other sources.
Pardon me for asking, but are you in any way related to the poet who created these verses, who is also the director of the movie?
This is really a superb song.. I neither saw the video of this song nor the movie , But i have the mp3 of this song , can someone upload the song Kayampoo also... ?
Yes indeed, this is one of the forgotten Rare Gems in Malayalam. Nice to now you love it too.
I do remember the "Kayampoo" bit. Unfortunately I do not have the movie, else I would have definitely posted that. Anyways, I will be on the lookout Do let me know if you find it first!
@ameelingmail Hi, I just discovered that perhaps we both got it wring regarding the Kayampoo bit. I found it in Changatham (1983) by Bhadran, which also has music by Raveendran.
It is on youtube - just add: /watch?v=txY-rGnk9FA after the youtube URL , or search for 'Changatham part 3' and the song sequence can be found from 1:40 to 2:54.
