And I really do love the "I love poi!" thing that happens with everyone pulling out their poi, you did it in another movie with you and Yuta converting jugglers, well, this one certainly did make me reach for my poi and thats what makes for a good flick I daresay... nice editing skills too...

  • buenisimo!!gracias por subir esos videos¡¡exelente y divertido!!

  • I love you :)

  • awesome illusions, you guys are wonderful together! (and seperately)

  • You've got better things to do?

What, like play video games and trawl youtube for videos of car crashes for you to favourite? Or watch videos of other people fire-twirling and then state that you've got "better" things to do?

It reeks of jealousy to me...

I won't judge which is better, watching videos of car crashes or learning how to twirl fire... but I will say, that to me, personally, the sentence "I've got better things to do than spin fire" is self-contradictory and doesn't make sense.

  • not jealous aboit twirling fire but the rest of your comment i agree with. i have got better things to do but they are both pretty cool. im getting into poi so i might change my mind, or i might not. basicaly it depends if my friend will stop breaking his nose doing it with baseballs and string for practice.

  • Get into it, you'll make friends and have fun. And tell your friend that he's a little silly for using something as hard as baseballs for practice. Tennis balls, balloons filled with uncooked rice or anything else that has a bit of weight but is soft to absorb force is far preferable. And having it in socks would probably also be an improvement.

Just out of curiosity, how can you make a fair judgment whether you've got better things to do if you haven't even done fire-twirling?

  • because spinning fire round my head, although beautiful, seems dangerously pointless but still i admire those who do purely because of talent and not lighting themselves up

  • SHIT SORRY! i didnt mean the word pointless sorry about that. Poi a spiritual thing i typed pointless without realising sorry

  • That's cool man, I don't really buy into all the spiritual stuff much anyway so don't worry about it. And it doesn't always have to be fire, it can be LED glow poi, glowsticks, or even just socks. And that aside, twirling fire is nowhere near as dangerous as you would think, it's pretty hard to set yourself alight really, it's only happened to me once, and when it does you just stop, drop and roll. No problem.

  • ok man thanks :)

  • No sweat man, sorry for the initially defensive reaction, I just took offense to what you said, but now I see you're a pretty cool guy.

  • thanks, im sorry about what i said i just typed it wrong :p

  • you mean that? hey thanks :). i didnt mean to offend anyone but i typed that wrong no need to apologise i was wrong so im sorry

  • oh and can i add my friend ties anything to string. so baseballs are an less extreme but he only gets those and whineglasses wrong. that wasnt good for his nose either :D

  • lol, I don't think I've ever heard of spinning wineglasses before, that's probably a poi first, and there's most likely a reason for that. I personally, wouldn't recommend twirling glass, unless you're into self-harm.

  • lol my friend is insane so he will spin all kinds of debris

  • You guy's are such an inspiration you are truly amazing...i hope to follow in your footsteps and one day be as good as you.

  • Love your work bro - So, how about poi flower photography and techniques, BUT, fractalize spinning your poi to the lyrical note pattern of the music your listening to.

  • Great work. Really liked the ending.

  • Nick and Yuta, you're such inspirations to life-lovers everywhere. Thank you for making people happy. :)
