They encourage the youth. They take in the youth. They love the youth.

WHAT ABOUT ME? i'M STILL HERE! ii'M HURTING TOO!!

PARENT ME, am I not good enough?

    show me you love me.

  • @simply5683 I'm guessing you're a PK (pastor's kid), that or your parents are deep in ministry, anywho... You need to know your parents love you, and you should tell them how you feel.

~Advice from one PK to another

  • @simply5683 These are my feelings exactly!

  • This song is sad

  • I can also relate. I'm glad that I know Jesus! I'm more glad that we all can know Him!

Now being a father of two girls i now know how hard it is when i am gone all the time working and never give them the time they need and now understand that its not easy being gone all the time this song made me cry and realize how much i do need to be there for them

  • Wow. I God led me to this video the night after telling my dad the exact word in this song. My dad was never there for me when I was young, he worked so hard and never had any time for me to the piont where I grew up wondering if he cared for me. I'm 18 now and about to move out of home and for the first time in my life my father apologised for never being there for me when I needed him. God is so good for the healing that he can provide.

  • I thank God that Json made this song. I always thought it was annoying when my parents were always pushing, nagging and on me about every aspect of my life. Now I look back and see it was all out of love like the love that Jesus has for us. I got alotta friends that don't have parents and I feel for em.

  • This is just sad, knowing that there are kids goiong through stuff like this. Where are all the parents at?

  • Well thy do but i know they just wish i was more like my big bro. Well maybe im not

  • i feel like i get looked over by my family and this song speaks to my need i just wish they would pay attention they only do when im at sports game and it hurts

  • Amen to the comment bellow me. I have two adopted siblings and i praise jesus their mine! But i wonder if we never adopted them he couldve been on the streets selling drugs or my sister sold into prostetuion i love the many ways he is faithful and true! I pray that if you feel a calling from God you will not put it aside and forget it but pursue it God works inmysterious ways!!!

  • that's what we need more in this world. I feel God has called me to work with inner city children and foster kids cuz they need someone to LOVE them. I can't do that alone plz don't think i good enough i can only show God's love to them i can't do it alone! I'll be going to college in 3 yrs and i want God to work with me so i can shine His glory an show love to the children that need Him. <3

  • my sentiments exactly. that boy face @3:17 made me sad though for real this song odee true.

  • I can relate to this song so much

  • "if you walk out that door youre gonna be just like your daddy" :( we're an angry, hurt people, on both sides. Jesus, come back into our families! we need You and we want You. thank You for how kind You are, merciful and gracious, and that You will remember us.

  • Deep, had me in tears. Ima be a good parent, i promise.

  • @SLSuckz be blessed, rely on Christ.

  • Wow!!! This song is soooooooo real. I've been in this situation on the Child's side and on the Parent side... I Praise God that he showed mercy on my and family and kids and didn't let it get to that he showed me how to love my family the way Jesus loves us and he continues to show me. Please anyone listening; Priorities in life should be directed by the word of GOD!!

  • @jsteel412 praise God with you!

  • @Json116 Hey this is Austin (DeJuan's friend). I just wanted to say I absolutely love this song man. I listen to it all the time. It's amazing.

  • @FruityBiscuits Thanks Austin. If you don't have one next time you come by I will give you the CD. Just remind. Thx and Im glad you like the music

  • I showed this to my mom recently, and she loved it! She said "Sadly this song is true, I'm gonna try to put you and your brothers before anything." Praise God for her!!

  • @TheShwaboy dear Jesus, please bless this intention to action and bless this family in Your Name.

  • I like this, but I keep thinking that it's not as simple as this seems to show. What about one-parent families, for example?

In the ideal case, where there are two parents, this song is very relevant indeed.

  • @denolaj i dunno...while it's harder for single parents to do the same job, it is possible...i'm the product of a single parent raising and while i would have greatly benefited from a stronger make presence my mom always made me and my sib feel the center of her world...harder for single parents for sure but doable, imo =)

  • @bubblegumprincess Thanks for that Bubblegumprincess :) It is encourging

  • @denolaj not sure if you noticed but the first and second verses are single parent homes. The first verst no father is present at all. The second verse the Father does not live in the home

  • @Json116

Thanks for the reply. I suffer from being overly critical :)

I also lived in a one parent family, with 'new' fathers from time to time. Still I don't want to use having only one parent at home as an excuse for my own choices. Likewise, it seems that you are criticizing the parents for actually working to provide (I know you don't, the first lines say that), but it's more complicated than blaming one side. A story always has two sides. Parenting is one, choosing for your own another.

  • @denolaj

That is true, but it's much easier to fall in the looking for the answers in the wrong places, when the parent is not the to train a child up in the way they should go.

  • @jsteel412

True. Thanks for your time :)

Awesome song too. (just so you know :))

  • wow. this is a very powerful song. i've been hearing some great music from christian rappers lately. they have really stepped up to the plate and really started teaching and showing people, praise God.

  • json was just at my church last night!!!

  • WOW! Praise God for this message!

  • many people comment saying what does this song have to do with Christianity but I think it has to do a lot with it cos the family unit was created by God.

  • amazing song/ video really an eye opener to the life we live in. more and more parents are being best friends there kids rather than their parents and their authority.

  • Man this track got a few tears buildin up in my eyes. I grew up without my parents being around (my dad was around occasionally). I'm a Christian rapper and this is one topic that I always want to just rap about, but I think Json and JR beat me to the punch on this one.

  • Wow this song and the video is so reality...I wish every parent all over the world could grab a hold of this message and re-evaluate some things. Keep bringing the truth bro!

  • how appropriate... and yet they still will never learn what it means to be a PARENT

  • Great video. I am an honored that we could be part of this project.

    Jeff

    Grand Piano Haus

  • WOW... dis a real ass song! Put a lump in my throat even lol

  • This video is so real not to mention the song !!! I luv it !

  • Time and acceptance is what children need! All this extra stuff, phones, cars etc. is extra, and stuff! There are no bad children, or willful or spoiled children born, children learn these behaviors from the caretakers. These behaviors are a result of parenting skills that are not present! I love this video!

  • This is some of that good truth that needs to be heard in the world! Great job!

  • this song almost made me cry! the lyrics r so real!! luven it!

  • Wow. This song says it all <3

  • This song is simply beautiful!

  • Beast

  • That video was AMAZING, mad props to everyone involved in this

  • Technically a good video, I teared up, sometimes as a parent you need a reminder that you are on the right track regardless of what others say Json, God bless and keep you

  • Json thanx for this video cuz it's so real and truly what we need to help turn our culture around. I've told lots of folks about this song and now to have the video its on. I'm glad the Passion continues. Keep up the good work "Soldier" We Need You!! Pops

  • Awesome video!! Definitely relevant for our culture and a good reminder! This could be an awesome video for family conferences/curriculum

  • I love the song but I can't listen to it cuz it makes me wanna cry.

I wanna send this to my dad. But he wouldn't be able to look past how they dress or JR's hair & ear ring to get the message.

  • @tlen07 Dis song makes me feel like i want 2 cry also. Love da message, video, & everything it's just da total package. U should send dis 2 ur dad. Maybe he'll understand, or if u could just get them sing'n it with the lyrics and show him dat 1st . See wut he thinks, then later show him da video. God Bless u.

  • @tlen07 Wow...What you just said speaks a million words. Look for the song only instead of the video. Send that to him along with the lyrics.
