There's a difference between being a great lyricist and being lyrical. I think any rapper can be lyrical, as far as multis go and shit like that. A lyricist is able to spit multis and have their shit make sense. Very few can do that.

I'm actually trying to appreciate Em's form of being lyrical because he is one of the few rappers who can put multis together and goes beyond that by painting a vivid image in somebody's head. There's a difference between being a great lyricist and being lyrical. I think any rapper can be lyrical, as far as multis go and shit like that. A lyricist is able to spit multis and have their shit make sense. Very few can do that.

Lyrically Canibus would body slam Eminem on a bed of nails. Eminem knows it too; he was scared to lay vocals down on a track Canibus sent to him, and instead collaborated with Limp Bizkit and Missy Elliot. K Rino would also body slam him. So would Andre 3K, Inspectah Deck and Chino XL. That's just a short list off the top of the head. Eminem is so overrated as an emcee by people who didn't even listen to rap before he emerged.
