You should have made the CQBR have a lower fps so that we could use it in a cqb arena. I have an M4A1 and I can't use it at my local cqb place because it's too powerful. Do you have a low powered bolt or anything that will decrease the fps?

I hope someone could help me out; I have recently installed the Open Bolt kit for my brazz tube/closed bolt AWSS M4 gen3 but then when I'm allmost done and try to put lower and upper together I can't! The reason is because the bolt carrier is too far way back in the upper receiver, and I just can't push it futher in no more! But it's only about one or two millimeter - very little. When putting the upper and lower together, I see the bolt carrier hits the buffer tube and that's what causing it.

The open bolt and the closed bolt versions are two completely different systems, and one bolt won't fit in the other gun.

Open bolt has a clear chamber similiar to the real rifle. Closed bolt has the AWSS system, in which you see a long brass rod in the chamber.

What's with the bbs falling out of the CQBR's barrel?

Why does the M16 shoot the least powerful, wouldn't the longer barrel increase power?

@DrPepperDrinkers No, when the the space between the bb in the barrel and the bolt becomes large enough, gas from the magazine now has a space to large to fill, decreasing the pressure behind the bb, consiqently, the compressed air in front of the bb has rissen enough because of the bb itself to now decelerate the bb. I noticed to start between 15-18" barrel, so I recommend a 14" barrel for greatest gas efficiency, and power. It shouldn't compromise accuracy, and if it does, raise the fps.

@Athorain Ok, I'm still kind of confused because in a redwolf video the WE OB M16 fire at 420FPS while the M4A1 chronoed at 390, I can give you a link. But I have heard that though eplaining why the WE G39 shoots the least powerful.

@DrPepperDrinkers With gas guns, conditions may vary the results. aka, maybe one mag had more gas, or if it was the same mag, it had less gas when it went to the second gun because of cool down. But if that wasn't a factor, Gas guns, like people, have good and bad days

@toboe399 I absolutely agree with you, 100%, but every time I suggest it, I just get flamed, saying any AR platform guns to be an "open bolt" system is just stupid, it's confusing and stupid, it makes the entire airsoft community seem ignorant to firearm when one of the bigger brands call their guns that way. However, on their products sticker, they have named it as "open chamber" and "brass tube version", it's just people have to say it right as well.

@toboe399 the annoying thing about it is the term applies to airsoft as well, a maruzen mp5k gbb fires from an open bolt unlike the real thing, and an wa/kwc uzi fires from an open bolt like the real deal, and the WE/WA/KSC ar platforms, all fire from a closed bolt, so if i'm looking for a realistic mp5, it would actually matter that i understand what the terms mean as the maruzen one is not true to its real counterpart...

@toboe399 Technically yes. But the WE "open bolt" series of rifles refers to their line of GGBRs that don't use the old style AWSS brass tube, but instead have an empty chamber and are thus more realistic.
