hey nice vid mate..i have a ques..well i have a yamaha RGZ 312(Strat)..and i'm short of funds to purchase a good guitar..however, what i can do is change the pickups, cuz its the thing that do not work so well..else the guitar is good..it comprises of 2 single coil and a hambucker..i wanna change the hambucker to a seymour duncan one and the single coils to a fender texmex..what do you advice..plz..thx..waiting eagerly on your response..tc
my problem is no one has a video on how to do an Epiphone LP Junior and I need that guide rather badly as the distortion has cut out on it completely...like I switch it to distorted and it's just clean but a bit louder...do I need a new humbucker or is it just faulty wiring? please help me :)
Hi, I have a question... I have a Dean Vendetta 1000 and it has by stock a push/pull coil knob, can I change the humbuckers with any other or are there any other pick ups that support this kind of stuff? I mean... I like the tone but seriously for Pantera-style songs it doesn't fit....
Now i have a rather creepy guitar a P-42 parker and i ordered seymour duncan pickups which come with a diagram do any of you know if i should still go to a guitar store or if i should try it out myself? Thanks =)
Leave some slack on the string and wind it on it's easier then wrapping it with no slack. It'll just fly over the place if you let go of it. Good vid.
If your gonna replace pickups, I suggest you bring it to a shop and watch those guys on how they do it cuz if it's your first time to replace pickups, your bound to fuck up at some point and ruin your guitar forever xDDD
Yes and no. Yes because its a les paul, no because you will need a battery compartment for EMGs. Take it to a professional, but adding the EMGs and carving out a batter space kinda defeats the purpose of a les paul aka a "big heaping carved and finished chunk o mahogany"
hey when i play a fret lower than 12 on the 1st string it makes a choking sound.. i took it to a best buy and they like.. screwed it up with the choking thing. any idea what it is?
Hello! i have this buzz sound under my pickups, and im not so experienced with guitars, so i just want to be sure that it's save to remove them quick just to have a look underneath.
@0oDenniso0 ur neck may be warped a bit try a neck ajustment and that dosnent work may be pickup or if u have a single coil pickup they usally make a buzzing noise
dose any one know what strings those are. i know its a dumb question but i noticed the metal stopers are colors and i have them on my strat but have no idea what they are so please if you know tell me
Yes, The Les Pauls follow pretty much the same diagram for the circuit of the pickups. U just gotta be careful with the wiring. If you can get a Diagram you can go wrong.

@xXcrackheadfoogabeXx i say if you feel comfortable doing it yourself then go for it but the safest thing to do is have it done at a shop
