When you think about how short the Batman run was, there were MANY MANY guest stars as both criminals or cameos like these. Batman was kind of like "Laugh-In" - a lot of stars thought it was "hip" and wanted to be on it.
Holy cameos!!! Now that's what i called a cool collection of celebrity cameos from one of my favorite shows Batman. The best one is Colonel Klink from Hogan;s Heroes.
I like how many of the inside-the-window people much of time obviously are laying inside of the set rather than leaning out an actual vertical window.
Wow; I never knew about these segments. I used to watch this on a classic TV themed station around 1991 (I believe it was the old Nick at Nite); they should have definitely kept on showing cameos by popular 60's TV characters besides Colonel Klink and Lurch; they coulda had Barbara Eden (I Dream ofJeannie), Elisabeth Montgomery (Bewitched) Gilligan, Mr. Ed, Herman Munster, Maxwell Smart, etc...60's television was awesome!
Colonel Klink!
I know nothing!

When Dick Clark closes the window, he's thinking "Wow, Batman's a real turd!"

I watched this as a kid, but never noticed these parts. I guess it was a take off on Rowan & Martin's Laugh In. Great 'bat" drop though.

@kalcomcast Rowan & Martin's Laugh In started in 1968.

Is it just me, or is it the same building every time with the same fold-out window with the same curtain?

@AmericanEvita I think it would've been difficult for them to pull off Mr. Ed's Bat Climb cameo.
Rtkat3 10 months ago
@AmericanEvita I agree. They just don't make television shows like they used to.
